Our basement refresh was our third project completed by Trends Kitchens and Baths. As seniors with safety issues top of mind all three projects added usability, safety and style to our home. The first project , November 2023, of a basement bathroom refresh replaced the tub with a walk in rain shower, added modern cabinets both upper and lower, safety rails and improved lighting.
We were so pleased we asked for a kitchen remodeling plan. The project began late November and was completed well before Christmas. This kitchen renovation replaced builder basic cabinets with new upper and lower custom units, an amazing island with loads of storage, new lighting and new flooring throughout the main floor. The many custom features such as appliance garage storage unit, large mixer lift stand, “magic corner”unit and enhanced pot lights make the kitchen light , airy , convenient and a pleasure to use.
We were so pleased with the work ethic and the quality of the products and the workmanship that we asked Trends to help improve the safety of our stairs and basement living area. Again it was completed by the same great crew of workers with attention to detail and design. We asked for a custom entertainment unit, removal of carpet and installation of luxury vinyl flooring, improvement of the natural light and artificial light and installation of storage cabinets with quartz top. We are beyond delighted with the final result and we now have a wonderful and safe set of oak stairs. The entertainment unit is the star of the space and we look forward to many happy gatherings.

Excellent quality! I’ve had my new kitchen for over a year now and it still looks amazing. I had spent MONTHS trying to decide what I wanted on my own. I should have went to Trends K&B right away. Angie has great taste and put together a couple of options for me all within 15 minutes. I used her choices and I’m so happy I did. She is organized, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The contractor, Charles, will do EVERYTHING. My sister had a different company do her kitchen and she had to find an electrician herself. Trends K&B is busy so I had to wait a few months but when they started, it took 1 week to turn my terrible old kitchen into a beautiful dream kitchen and I didn’t have to do anything. Charles really wants the best for you. He even cut a small hole in the bulkheads over my old cupboards to see if there was space to make my new ones a bit higher. Charles moved my fridge over a few feet in the new layout and it made a big difference. He knows what works. He always answered my calls or called me back quickly. I had a minor issue afterwards and they fixed it right away. I love everything about this business and will definitely use them again someday.
