Be a Pro Hockey Training was founded by Canmore locals Noah Philp and Sam Jones, who saw a need for accessible, high-quality hockey development in Banff and Canmore. What began as small summer skates at the local rink quickly grew into organized hockey camps and development programs. The program was created to give players of all levels a positive place to improve, enjoy the game, and build strong habits both on and off the ice. Be a Pro Hockey Training offers youth hockey camps and hockey school programs in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our one-week hockey camps are open to players of all levels and focus on skill development, confidence, and creating a fun, positive hockey experience. Hosted in Canmore and Banff, just outside Calgary, our hockey camps combine on-ice skill development, age-appropriate off-ice training, and the opportunity to enjoy one of Canada’s most iconic mountain destinations. Many families treat our hockey school camps as a summer getaway that blends hockey development with time in the Rockies.
