Swiss Chalet, Calgary Reviews (4)
we had never been there before and reading the previous comments , we were a little hesitant , but when we went it was simply amazing, the chicken was so tender and such a large portion we ended up taking it home , we also ordered the poutine... man , we want to go back again .. the service wasn't bad.. so so , but the food for the price ... great...
This place used to be good, but now it is horrible.
We got take out and the chicken was so dried out that we didn't eat it.
We dined in a few weeks later, and it wasn't as bad it still didn't compare to any other Swiss Chalet that i have been in and the service was not very good either.
My Girl friend decided to try it again because she likes Swiss Chalet and she go bad food and poor service. They never made her pay for the meal, but we will never go back.

I've always had really great experiences at this Swiss Chalet! They've always been very quick, even when they're busy. On top of that, the staff is really friendly and accomodating. Teh restaurant itself is in great conddition and has always been clean and tidy.
Bad service. Got sat at wooden table by door when there were plenty of nice booths. Waited for someone to take drink order and they were not busy, what happens when they are busy. Will not eat there again.

Swiss Chalet's unique, cripsy rotisserie chicken was inspired by a secret Swiss recipe, discovered by founder Rick Mauran, from Monteral. Today, the rotisserie - a large open-flamed overn that slowly roasts the chicken in its own juices so it's crispy on the outisde and tender and juicy on the inside - is still at the heart of every Swiss Chalet.
