Dr. Prarthana Pai Krishnananda, DDS, or Dr.Pai as her patients affectionately call her, earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Master’s degree in Periodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India. Dr. Krishnananda began her dental career as a general dentist in 2010 and later completed her specialty training in periodontics in 2014. After moving to the United States, she worked in both front office and dental assisting roles to better understand the U.S. dental system before returning to school and beginning practice here in 2020. Dr. Krishnananda enjoys new patient exams, surgical dentistry, and helping patients receive the care they need to achieve their oral health goals. She believes the mouth is a mirror of overall health and works closely with patients to guide them toward healthier smiles and improved well-being.
