Dr. Hassan Ismail is a practice owner. He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton on July 2, 2018 and reappointed by Governor Tim Walz in 2022. Dr. Ismail is an owner and faculty member of the University of Minnesota Dental School. He is a practicing owner of Aspen Dental. He began practicing dentistry in 2001 after graduating from Aleppo University. He is currently a member of the Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Education Association, University of Minnesota Alumni Association and a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
