Friendliest staff and the absolute best ice cream I’ve had in Toronto! The skyfee flavour was my unexpected favourite - really deep yet smooth coffee flavour and the salty skyflake pieces were such a fun crunchy element! All the flavours were rich, smooth and creamy without feeling heavy - would make the 1 hr+ trek again!

I am obsessed with this place. Their ice cream is rich, creamy, and sparks so much joy. They often have very interesting and creative flavours as well. I have tried many of their flavours, and their honeycomb cereal milk ice cream is to die for. They are on the pricier side but the quality is top notch. One of the best ice cream places in Toronto for sure.

We arrived at the perfect time, just before the lineup started to grow. It’s clearly a popular spot, and after trying the ice cream, I can understand why.

There’s a great variety of flavours, so there’s something to suit almost every palate. I chose the Banoffee, made with real banana ice cream, graham crust, and caramel, while my friend ordered the Cookie Butter, featuring Biscoff ice cream with generous chunks of Biscoff cookies. They also have a Merit collab flavour for a limited time - kind of an odd collaboration IMO. I do like their beauty products but don’t see the connection with one cream.

Both flavours were absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and they don’t skimp on the mix-ins. Every bite had the perfect balance of creamy ice cream and crunchy, flavourful chunks, making the texture just as enjoyable as the taste.

One thing to note is that they don’t offer samples, so it’s worth taking a moment to decide on your flavour before ordering.

They also have some adorable merchandise, which adds to the fun experience, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Overall, a fantastic ice cream shop with creative flavours, quality ingredients, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu! 🍦

It's a Ruru Baked summer!!! 🍦😍 I've been meaning to visit their shop for months and early June I saw they had a stall at Union Summer. So of course, I wasted no time.
I tried the cookie butter (it was highly recommended by one of their lovely staff members 💕) and fell in love! It was so creamy and decadent. 😍😭

You can get scoops in a cup or cone and they come in a variety of sizes (mini, single split, flight, single and double). They also have take-home pints available. I am so impressed with the quality of their custard ice cream. You can tell it's made with love. 💕 And they come up with the most creative flavours! 🔥

I've visited them 5 times in the past two weeks. 😂 I brought my friend who was visiting to grab some scoops and she absolutely loved it! My favourite flavours so far: London Fog, Orange Dreamsicle, Rum Raisin, Strawberry Basil Lime sorbet (Union Station Exclusive), Cookie Butter, Banoffee Pie.
I really need to visit their shop at Lansdowne soon! 💕

Saw their truck at Barkham and had to try their ice cream. It was very delicious and high quality! My friend and I both got a mini size for around 3 or 4 dollars for each ice cream and they were larger than expected. The ice cream is creamy and flavourful and chunks are toppings inside are very delicious.

Went on a weekday, so there was no line. Really interesting flavours that you don’t get anywhere else! I loved the honeycomb cereal milk ice cream; the crunch was perfect with the cereal milk's sweetness. I also got the milk tea, which I wasn’t the biggest fan of, I wish the flavour was stronger.

MY FAVVV ICE CREAM SHOP. Just tried it 3 weeks ago for the first time and I’m already addicted, specifically with the Biscoff Cheesecake flavour. I’ve gone four times since and even got gifted 2 pints for my birthday. I’m constantly checking their website (every couple hours..) to see if my flavour is back. Take all my money and enjoy my pics 💛🤎🤍🍨 @sagwanguyen

Only downside is that they change their flavours frequently throughout the day so yes, one day I came and they sadly took Biscoff off the menu rip

I’ve been here many times before & never thought to leave a review, but here I am now to let you know that this is such a great ice cream parlor.
The quality of their icecream is so consistent & the range of flavours they have are pretty unique!
The line up can get long especially when the weather is nice out, but it isn’t too bad of a wait.
They have very limited seating so most people just hang outside after getting their orders - & offer free glasses of water to those who need just on the side where you pick up your order.
There’s street parking with a Green P nearby for those travelling by car

Went just before closing, and they were very welcoming. Got the che bà mau flavor ice cream ànd it was very delicious. You could taste all the different textures from mung bean to the red bean. They have rotating flavors- but it’s not based on a weekly rotation. It’s based on which flavors they make and what gets consumed quickly. Check their website for their most up to date flavors.

Went to Ruru Baked yesterday during the afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up trying quite a few flavours. I got the Mais Con Yelo and Hazelnut Crunch, while the person I was with got the Matcha + Shortbread and Deep + Delish.

All of them were unique, tasty, and not overly sweet. I was especially intrigued by the Mais Con Yelo and really enjoyed it. The corn flavour reminded me of the milk at the end of a cereal bowl in the best way. The Hazelnut Crunch had a very generous amount of mix-ins, which made the texture really enjoyable.

The matcha had a nice strong flavour. I couldn’t really taste the shortbread as much, but it was still good. The Deep + Delish was tasty as well, but didn’t stand out as much compared to the others.

We decided to go back for two more flavours, Maple Marshmallow and Sticky Toffee Cake. These were definitely the sweetest. The Sticky Toffee Cake was a standout, very rich and packed with flavour, exactly as the name suggests. The Maple Marshmallow was also really good, though I had a bit of a hard time tasting the maple, but that could have been from trying so many flavours back to back. Mixing those two together was also really enjoyable.

Service was friendly and we were greeted right away. Seating is limited, with a few stools by the window. Also, whoever was on aux… is my kind of people, they played “Beautiful Soul” by Jesse McCartney and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” by Panic! At The Disco, couldn’t help but sing along

Overall, a fun spot with really unique flavours. Would definitely go back to try more.

Love this place! My friends and I celebrated my birthday today with one of Ruru's workshop and it was so much fun. It was great learning more about the ice cream process, and trying all their unique and delicious flavours. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun group activity.

I’m a huge ice cream lover and I’m always on the lookout for good places, but today I found an absolutely amazing shop!
I tried the condensed milk & azuki and the sticky toffee cake flavors, and both were incredibly delicious. Also the staff were also very friendly and genuinely lovely people!

Honestly, this is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back to try the other flavors!
