Calls people names when they ask for their warranty to be honored.
I had my roof redone last year by Argus Roofing and before doing so had called several references including C.A.A. Habitation Québec and there was nothing but glowing reviews and comments. C.A.A. Habitation Québec has referenced hundreds of his clients and his satisfaction rating from hundreds of references is almost 100%.
My name is William D Lurie from Pierrefonds and I am not afraid to identify myself or my great roof. It was well done at a great price.
I am not anonymous and I am not hiding my identity.
So your anonymous review stands alone because if Argus was as bad as you say he is, there would be dozens more negative reviews. But there is just you and you choose to remain hidden. Perhaps his competitor, perhaps not a client at all.
It's easy to say anything on the Internet when you can hide your identity. This is why Google disallows reviews such as yours because too many people lie, are competitors or were not even customers of the company they negatively review.
Also for the cost of a roof that you were dissatisfied with- how come you never went to court or sued them or did anything other than call him on the phone? If I spent thousands of dollars on a service I was not happy with, I would do one heck of a lot more than write a negative review almost a decade after the service was given.
Something is not ringing true here and it's your review.

We did our roof in June 2015 . Angelo and his crew were wonderful! Very easy to deal with, polite and punctual. The work area was always clean and the final job and look of our roof is wonderful. The price was very competitive and I would highly recommend Argus Roofing. They did our house in two days, which was the exact timing they estimated.
We had a few very heavy rainfalls since the new roof was done, and no issues to speak off.
Thank you Angelo, I will highly recommend you to our friends and family.

Very Very disappointed
Had the roof done in july of 2006.
From day one the shingles did not seem right, they were very wavy in sections. I called and they sent Ryan out to look at it. He said it is normal and it will settle in a few weeks. Fall of 2006 came and I guess they still needed time to settle.
During the winter of 2006-2007 there was an accumulation of ice that built up in the valley of the dormer, as soon as the temperature increased it started to melt and guess what, a leak in the ceiling of my newly renovated bathroom. I called and they sent someone over the next day, he removed the remaining ice an said “that should fix it “ .
I called again and again and again and again, even called Angelo the owner. Calls were never returned.
Fast forward to present. October 2014. I have a new contractor re-doing the roof that Argus installed (my eight year old roof that leaked from year one )
I have the good fortune of being home to see what Argus installed (or did not install) on my house. CRAP. Rotten wood under the black paper(wood rot that could not have happened in a short period of time. Sections of the decking missing, other sections so weak the new contractors foot fell through. Vents that had no wood under them so the screws were doing nothing. Huge maxi vents installed for ventilation (the hole under the vent 6 inch by 3 inch ?????) Why the maxi vent on a house with no soffits???????
And this is not the new contractor opinion, I saw it for myself.
The job that was done by Argus was a quick in and out low quality that one would expect from an amateur.
The new contractor is repairing the deck, installing 1/2 plywood over that to give it an even surface to accept the shingles and is putting ice shield on the entire roof surface and up the dormer wall 24”, shingles are BP brand lifetime. All this for $1400 more then Argus charge me back in 2006.

Hi would you please tell us who you ended up using in the end? I just had Argus come to house and just saw this!
Do not take this company. They are not a good roofing company.
