Vipin Mathew, DO is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine Physicians, and trained at McGaw Northwestern Family Medicine Residency in Geneva, IL. Before becoming a physician, he worked as a Respiratory Therapist in the ICU/PICU/NICU at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, and also worked as a Research Assistant at UNLV and Children’s Heart Center of NV for 3 years. These experiences shaped the way he cares for people today. He believes that healing begins with listening and treating every patient as a whole person. “My goal is to listen first, then guide and empower patients with what they need to make informed decisions about their health”. His clinical interests are musculoskeletal related injuries. As an osteopathic physician - focused treatment with OMT, obesity management and treating sleep related conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea with CPAP and other modes of NIPPV. In his spare time, Dr. Mathew enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and is excited to add a new member to their growing family soon. He also enjoys playing and recording music, participating in local bible study/prayer group and cooking Indian food.
