Tom Mitchell joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2014. He previously worked for 15 years as a Contractor at NASA Langley Research Center.
Tom has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology / Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in business administration from Hampton University. He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in VA.

He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk.
