I was given the wrong dog upon pick up.....I will admit they looked similar and the front desk was very crowded. when I walked to the dog to the door and realized it, I went back and the clerk acted as if I did not know what I was talking about. I asked who owns the establishment and they could not answer my question. One of the "partner" owners called me to apologize. They had reviewed the tapes and accepted full responsibility. While I appreciate this, and she explained they do not make ownership common knowledge with the staff as they want them to feel its a team effort, upon reflection of the situation, I feel they are hiding and don't want anyone to know who they are. They are average with grooming. Average care. I would just say be cautious. My experience not great.
STAY AWAY FROM PUPCULTURE GROOMING!!! Unfortunately, I’ve had a horrible experience with PupCulture. I have never left any review for a business, positive or negative, but unfortunately, I have to warn others due to the maltreatment of my dog. After grooming, my dog has gotten two bacterial and fungal infections on separate occasions with different groomers. This has been thousands of dollars in vet bills, and it seems to be a repetitive issue. This business has been completely unprofessional in the way they’ve chosen to handle this. I have been waiting for a manager to call me back for four days. I have yet to receive a phone call back to address the situation. Apparently, the list of complaints for this business is so long that they are “still working through the list” to get to my complaint. The infection is so bad that my dog had to get various injections, topical treatments, and steroids to manage this. He spends most of the day crying and physically shakes when we go near the storefront. I cannot speak to the boarding or daycare aspects of this establishment, but judging from their long list of complaints and lack of care and sanitation, I would urge you to stay away from this business.
I took my pup Cooper for a haircut and was very pleased with the grooming. The appointment was easy to book, and the front desk was very quick and responsive over email. I had a couple of pointers for the grooming, and everything was done to my satisfaction.
pupculture FiDi NYC is a great space for your best friend! Sidney loves all of the staff, especially since he is treated like royalty. What I love the most about his boarding (sleep away camp) are the daily (if not more than daily) pictures. He always looks like he is having fun with the other dogs, and when he senses that I am walking in the direction of pupculture there is no stopping him.
We’ve used two different groomers here for our miniature poodle and both were outstanding- the best of the three different places we’ve used in TriBeCa, and cost of the service was far lower. A great value, professional work, friendly caring staff.
