The William H. Snell Building was completed in 1960 to provide a permanent home for Industrial Arts which had been housed in ward surplus buildings on the site of current Harold B. Lee Library. William H. Snell was a faculty member, teacher, and resourceful administrator. The William H. Snell Building currently houses the School of Technology, an academic unit in the Ira A.
