My family and I travelled from Toronto to enjoy MTL food and culture. Barranco was chosen by my wife to celebrate her birthday, and the place did not disappoint. The food was terrific, we loved the cevice , grilled octopus and the chiccarone tacos. The drinks were also very good, they had designer mocktails for the kids to enjoy.
We want to thank Nabila for her excellent recommendations and service hospitality. She was very attentive to our needs and provided us with a wonderful celebration!

I absolutely loved this place.
We were two and shared a few dishes: the Taquitos Chicharrón (sooo good — they come with three but you can add an extra), the Yuquitas (delicious but a bit heavy, so perfect to share), and the Ceviche Clásico, which was my personal favorite (gotta love lime). For dessert, we had the Crème Brûlée de Lúcuma.
For drinks I tried the Chicha Sour, made with their homemade pisco. Loved it so much I ordered a second one.
Beyond the amazing food and ambiance, the service truly stood out. You can tell they’re proud of what they serve and really care about the overall experience.
Definitely a place you need to try!

This restaurant has the tastiest food and delicious drinks. The ambiance is perfect, chill music, and nice stylish colorful décor.
Food and drink presentation is on point and all staff is very professional and helpful.
DO TRY ANY CEVICHE THEY HAVE!! The Nikkei ceviche is on my picture, it was perfect!
See you soon Barranco!

THE BEST PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TO. This place truly tastes like home. The food was incredibly fresh I ate so much and didn’t feel bloated at all, which says everything about the quality. The drinks were exactly like my mom used to make back home: the pisco sour and maracuyá sour were perfectly balanced and so authentic.
The lomo saltado was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The sauce was spectacular, the meat was high quality, soft, juicy, and perfectly medium-rare inside. Even the fries were amazing still crispy, not soggy at all. The huacatay sauce tasted so fresh, and the cebiche was absolutely to die for.
If you’re looking for real Peruvian food in Montreal, this is the place. You can feel the love and tradition in every bite.

Authentic Peruvian flavors in the heart of Montreal!
This spot completely blew me away — from the creative cocktails to the beautifully plated dishes. The drink presentation was incredible (served in a skull tiki mug!) and packed with tropical flavor. The food was fresh, full of texture, and bursting with that signature Peruvian zest — especially the octopus dish, which was cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere was vibrant with great music, colorful decor, and warm service that made the whole experience feel like a trip to Lima. Highly recommend this place whether you’re visiting or local — it’s a must-try for anyone who loves good vibes and amazing Peruvian cuisine! 🇵🇪✨

I was really excited to try this place after seeing so many great photos online, but unfortunately, the experience was a big letdown. While the presentation of the food was impressive, the flavors didn’t live up to the hype.
We started with three appetizers:
Mentirositas
Popcorn de Coliflor
Solterito
They were decent, but nothing particularly memorable.
For the main course, we ordered Arroz con Mariscos, which was very disappointing. I usually love seafood, but this dish was neither flavorful nor well-executed. The risotto was overly salty and oily far from the refined taste I was expecting. We also tried the Lomo Saltado, which was just okay. To be fair, the potatoes and rice were the best parts of that dish.
The music was extremely loud, making it difficult to hear my friends, so we ended up asking to be seated inside. Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve much after that. Our waitress took our order but never checked in with us afterward to see if everything was okay. We even had to ask other staff members just to get water.
Overall, this was not the experience I was hoping for, and I wouldn’t return. The food simply didn’t stand out, and with so many better options available, it’s not a place I’d recommend.

Wow!!!! I am so glad that this was our last dinner in Montreal because we would have compared every other to it and would have been disappointed. It was absolutely nothing short of AMAZING! The drinks....best we had the entire time here.....the service was completely on point, friendly, efficient, and the place was busy. We started with sharing Solterito and it was so fresh, well-balanced, and light. My daughter got the ceviche rocoto and I got the anticucho de Pollo....both ridiculously flavorful. I wish I could have ordered one of everything on that menu...seriously. We shared the passion fruit cheesecake and it was perfect. I do not have a single bad thing to say. If you have the chance...go! I absolutely promise you will not be disappointed.
This place came highly recommended from our friends, and it did not dissapoint. We arrived around 6 for a very late lunch, with a very tired toddler. We were immediately seated at a very busy but lovely patio, and server was amazing. We got a bunch of stuff to try as well as their local own beer. I also requested for two simple fried eggs for my son, and they were so sweet to accomodate my request at a minimal cost. Highly recommend, for both family affairs as well as date nights!
We had a great time. The place is super cute, good music, good vibes. Was packed! The food was fresh and flavourful. Will definitely go back.
Absolutely loved this place! The drinks were delicious and perfectly balanced. The food was just as impressive—especially the Jarey D’Agnon, which was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The team was incredibly friendly and professional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Price-wise, everything felt reasonable and made sense for the quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Peruvian cuisine in Montreal!
