Dr. Jennifer van Dyk, MD, MPH, is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell, where she trained in comprehensive women’s health care with a focus on maternal health and advocacy. Dr. van Dyk earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health from Loma Linda University School of Public Health. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry from Walla Walla University. She has contributed to research in maternal health, including studies on breastfeeding and antepartum breast milk expression, and has presented at national conferences such as the Association for Medical Ultrasound and the CREOG & APGO Annual Meeting. Her leadership roles include serving on the Social Determinants of Health Subcommittee and the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Task Force at Loma Linda University. Dr. van Dyk is also deeply committed to advocacy and community service, having participated in the ACOG Resident Advocacy Program and led mentorship initiatives for pregnant and parenting teens through Project Hope.
