This is the WORST management company ever. I am in the process of transferring my mortgage to a different bank to get a cheaper rate. RBC asked for updated building insurance to close out the deal however after two months of trying to get the insurance with no luck. They sent me an old insurance policy that was outdated. The bank and myself expressed concerns that the building should be insured so there is no need to withhold the insurance as it is only to close out the deal. I asked Bella Management to indicate to me if there is any reason why I cannot get the document with no response. The receptionist Joyce and Judy did say "We do not have this document " I said to her you should as the insurance you sent me is now outdated and the building should be insured. I phoned RECA and they told me exactly what to do with literally no answer nor reply to my many emails. My bank was charging me an extra 500.00 while I wait for this insurance and I did express concerns to them about this as well. A really bad company, with a lack of communication and effective skills to communicate effectively. It is a big shame that they are still in operation. I just feel sorry for the staff and the Broker as they must be going through stuff in life to be acting and treating people like this. I wish them nothing but peace.

Alison Pon is the owner of the property management company Bella and we have them as property managers in our Condo in downtown Edmonton. I cannot tell you how ignorant and rude Alison and her staff are to deal with...
First off, Alison does not have any experience in building construction, electrical, HVAC operations or public service delivery. So, with this person running the property management company, she will use a bluff type manner of business operations where she will basically tell you a lie as she does not know the answer and when you challenge her with the information that she is giving you, she will then turn rude and dismissive. Alison knows very little about statutory law, regulatory law and case law. Therefore, as mentioned above she will lie or give a half truth to try to turn you away.
Alison is not a very nice person, she is not at all discreet in the management of her affairs, meaning that she has no problem at all talking about tenants and unit owners in the condominium in a very unwelcoming and disparaging manner. This type of management is the height of non-professionalism and very self defeating. She does not realize that you can deliver information, even bad news in a professional and intelligent manner and when you do good work, people generally will respect you.
There are many disgruntled people in the large condominium where I live who absolutely dislike and even hate Alison and her team as they run the condo like a totalitarian regime.
She seems to have learned her business acumen from the school of Mao Tse Tung.

I have had a very frustrating experience so far with Bella Management and Realty as our property mgmt company. When contacted, they take an extremely long time to respond, if they do at all. Often emails go completely unanswered, including emails requiring action and/or approval. They also seem poorly organized - I had to submit the same form twice because it was "lost". Not impressed.
