Monica Rudd is the most inept, low- energy, and unprofessional lawyer I have ever encountered. Go do your "free consultation" with her, and you'll know exactly what I mean.

I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for a clients needs and outright theft of a clients funds.

Long story short, Monica dropped me as a client less than 24 hours after cashing my retainer cheque and after speaking to the opposing council.

The timeline of these events is highly suspicious.

I was treated like some kind of 3rd rate citizen the minute I voiced my concerns about how my case was being handled, how Monica put me at risk of missing a Provincial Court deadline, or the fact they refused to return my files the day before my deadline.

It's only after I advised that I'm going to report them to the Law Society of BC that all of a sudden, they wanted to return my retainer (less $1500 for a filing she never intended of completing) everyones attitude miraculously changed, and all of a sudden shes wiling to represent me again.

After my experience, I wouldn't trust her to dispute a parking ticket....
