Discover this Little Gem while downtown catching an afternoon theater production. You have to support this little local shop. Tried their vegetarian vegan breakfast cookie and it was delicious. In home latte coffee Brand was absolutely amazing.

This was one of my favorite coffee shops for years, it’s close to my building and the coffee is delicious. But I will never come back here again… the staff have become so rude particularly the tall blonde woman and the man with the facial hair….literally eye rolls galore. So cold and uncomfortable in this coffee shop now.

I want to highlight that the girl who took my order was quite sweet but the experience with these two baristas in the last few visits is enough to never return.

I picked this place because it had salads, but they were prepared clamshell packages in a refrigerated case. The one I had was delicious but I was expecting more a sitdown meal, which was a challenge for a business lunch as we ended up at a shared table. However the coffee was excellent and I would come back for a more casual experience, seems to be more a place for George Brown students.

Solid Coffee Spot to Start Your Morning – Rooster Coffee on King

Stopped in early on a Saturday morning looking for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The place already had a steady flow of foot traffic, which is always a good sign.

Grabbed a ham and cheese croissant, a coffee, and a walnut raisin muffin — everything was fresh and hit the spot. Well-made, tasty, and fairly priced.

Plenty of seating inside, making it a comfortable spot to sit and relax, even during a busy morning. Service was quick and helpful, which I appreciated.

Great little spot to kick off your day — would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Tried a new café downtown — Rooster.
I was born in the year of the rooster, so I thought maybe I'd love it. It was actually busier than I expected. The decor caught my eye — vintage with a bit of an industrial vibe, which I liked.

I ordered a flat white and a chocolate peanut tart. The flat white was smooth and well-balanced, no burnt aftertaste at all. The tart, though, was way too sweet for my taste.

If I pass by again, I’d love to try something else from their menu.

It’s a cute cafe in the neighborhood, prices are decent. The decaf iced latte was good, the chocolate croissant could have been better. Good music, you’ll see people working / reading too so decent spot to come solo or with a friend.

Absolutely love this place!
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. I came here to draw and work on my projects, and it was a great environment to focus and feel inspired.
The coffee was fresh and expertly brewed, with a great selection of blends and specialty drinks. Their snacks are delicious and pair perfectly with any drink.
It’s also a great spot to meet up with friends and hang out for a while. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere! Its so cozy and I came when it was raining in the morning so the warm coffee and tea were rly good ☕️(would recommend the brewed coffee (small) smells and is rly good. Nicely sweet too)

Glad that this coffee place is next door to my office. Cause you know, office coffee is never good. I always love their flat white and latte. But today I tried a drink from the seasonal menu called “beetroot latte” it’s like cinnamon and beetroot in milk. I never saw something like that in any coffee shop menu so was just curious to try.

But if you are stopping by for coffee then it’s hands down very good.

The coffee shop also have cute rustic aesthetics and the service is very good. Also everything is very reasonable priced.

This spot has the most beautiful view. The quality of the coffee and service is really high. The patio is dog friendly and they have a large selections of baked goods with gluten free and vegan options. Light sandwich and salad options in fridge. Home made ice cream sandwiches too. Sell wine and beer. It is hidden in a beautiful neighbourhood. great find
