Having shopped at Tom's Place, my son and I crossed the street for a coffee and something to eat. Jimmy's is an agreeable spot with a pleasant outdoor space at the back. The coffee is good but nothing special, the scone I had was very good. My son liked his coffee and cookie. Give Jimmy's 4 1/2 stars
I was in Toronto for a Blue Jays game and we stopped in here. I love the old architecture and the look of the place. Excellent service, drink and facilities. It's even better if you like the old school coffee shop atmosphere. It's simple and artsy which I really like. Great alternative to the fancy, big corporate coffee shops.
The cafe is quite nice with a cozy interior with a decent number of chairs and tables for the space. My mocha was incredibly mediocre and tasted more like hot chocolate with no espresso.
Love this place. Great vibe. Music was nice and not too loud. Spacious with plenty of chairs. Laptop friendly. Friendly staff. They close at 6 which I think its too early.
Cozy Old School coffee shop with Selected small bites - had a brew and a almond butter oats to start the day
Entered this cafe because the storefront looked warm and welcoming. It’s a little cramped but further into the cafe there’s a cozy seating space. I had a cappuccino which was okay, I didn’t like the coffee very much. The barista was nice and friendly. The place closed at 6pm. So I stuck around for about 15mins. It’s a nice space but it’s too bad that the coffee doesn’t reflect that.
Smashing IT!

There aren't too many decent places in Toronto to get a proper Cup of Joe, but this spot, right in the heart of Ossington and Queen does COFFEE RIGHT.
Great customer service as well.
Excellent vibe to get some serious reading done, set up a team meeting or just admire that perfect cup of coffee you just ordered.

Surely I Had my first and last experience- went in the morning for usual coffee after gathering my groceries like every single week in Kensington market. Order one of the feature’s cafes with lavander or something they had in the wall marked, once it was served , I ask if it was oatmeal? Then the barista said no is regular milk. I said I’m lactose intolerant, even before I hesitate to ask, if he could change it , he said with a loud attitude while doing another drink for someone else “I’m not going to change it”
I was shocked, partner and I look in to our eyes, and simple left. Not sure if the barista was angry or not a morning person but I regret leaving a two dollar tip even before he prepare my coffee. Very disappointed, i understand is extreme to say I’m not going back, but there is many others cafe in the area were if i situation like that would had happened, for sure the history it will be pretty different.

Fav spot in Kenso to take class online. Fav dark roast around and the most pleasant baristas you could think of.

Dear Jimmy,
I LOVE UR COFFEE 🤩🤤. I ordered an iced americano with 2.5 shots, half almond, half goat milk and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was so good I literally just pooed my pants (literally). The concoction is so magical, the flavours a maelstrom of beauty, bringing tears to my eyes each time I think of my experience drinking it. Those goats worked so hard for that milk and I will always be in debt to this amazing opportunity of Jimmy’s coffee that they’ve granted me. Amen

Good chain of indie coffee shops. Busy. Great coffee. Plenty of space to sit: wifi and good music.
LOVE love love this place! The vibe: amazing. The coffee selections unique and yet traditional. The baked goods: delicious and very fresh! Landed here with a friend from the neighbourhood and I was the total-tourist, drinking it all in (see what I did there?: "drinking" ... coffee ... ). I love the decor and just wish they'd had a branded-travel-coffee-cup: would have totally bought that as a memento of the time. Good Job Jimmy
