Remax Twin City Realty Inc, Kitchener Reviews (2)
I recently sold a property using Remax Twin City Realty. Having originally listed my property using a private service, I was approached by two members of the Twin City Realty team wanting to list my house. After meeting with them, and being told that they had potential buyers for our property, we decided to list with them.
After several showings and very little results, it became clear that in fact there were no real interested buyers, but this was simply a sales tactic to get our listing.
For the next several months, we had many viewings with people who had clearly not be informed on the specs or details of our property. This in turn wasted a lot of our time in preparing our home to show to people that had not been properly vetted by our crack real estate team.
In the end, we ended up selling our property for a highly discounted amount, that I am confident we could have sold it for privately, while not being gouged by the outrageous real estate commission.
The stellar service we received continued as we approached our closing deadline. Incomplete paperwork being submitted to our lawyer, misplaced monies, delays in issuing money held in trust by the realtor, all caused me to spend a total of 6 hours after the closing had been finalized waiting for the receipt of my cheque at the lawyers office. At the end of the day, I was forced to drive to the realtor and pick the cheque up myself after it had been sitting with them for over 3hrs. During this time I had been given multiple excuses why it was taking so long, at the end of the day it was simply a matter of poor customer service.
I have now happily relocated to a new city, but I felt compelled to share my story regarding my experience with this Realtor.

We dealt with an agent there named Jonathan Knight, who helped us with the purchase of our first house. We were pretty nervous throughout the process but he was very helpful and patient with all of our questions, and helped us with info on tax breaks etc. He helped us negotiate a really good deal on the place and overall we were quite happy. Jim and Susan.
