Wayne Muir helped our family. My wife was on maternity leave and I had poor credit. He set up a contract with 4% deposit and 2.5 years later we owned our home. At times my wife and I were questioning our decision but we went on. I repaired my credit with help of Wayne'S reference. I'm thankful to him and his entire team.

Sold my home in 3 days and bought me a nicer home for the same price. I would recommend him to all. Rent to own never used him or anyone. I have credit, make income and have a downpayment. So dont have those issues.

My overall experience with Wayne Muir was terrible. Poor customer service, he had no info on any of the homes that were advertised and on top of that he was very rude when he was asked about properties being shown in the paper. He was very pushy and seemed like the perfect portrait of a sleezy salesman. Do not use him as your real estate agent unless you like being told the run around and being given attitude with every question you ask.

I have had bad credit for a few years now and thought I couldn't buy a home for my family. Wayne and his team helped my family to rent to own. It was a great experience and we love the investor we were paired with, he has been super helpful throughout the process. Such a great program!

I had the honor of working with Cindy Smith as my realtor from the Wayne Muir Team . I found Cindy to be very helpful in finding and purchasing my first house. She was very informative and knowledgeable of both the area we were looking in and also with what would suit our living style.

Cindy guided us along the way. We are very happy with our house selection and we were very impressed by the help of Cindy. She always worked around our changing work schedule and accommodated for us. Her devotion to helping us find a house is top, 10/10. Thank you very much Cindy for all the help you provided and really appreciate all the time and energy you put into finding a house for us.

I wish I could give negative stars. Never have I been so infuriated in my entire life. I contacted Wayne Muir about a home I saw advertised in the newspaper (Mississauga News). It seemed too good to be true (and you know what they say about that). When I checked his website there was no info on the property. So I called the number and it was picked up by a receptionist. She knew nothing about the property but said someone would get back to me. I waited and the next day I got a call from another woman. She also did not know anything about the property but just kept asking me personal questions. I just wanted to see the home. Could I? No. First they would have to meet me. I don't know any other agents who do this but they said that an agent would meet me and my husband at home. Fine, I guess. When they came, it was not Wayne Muir. The agent who showed up (I forget her name) was absolutely clueless about the property. I showed her the paper and she said that it was likely sold and that they had a lot of homes like it. She would not find out where the property was or how much it sold for! All she wanted me to do was sign an agency agreement which would lock me into them and financing documents! The nerve!!!! Clearly these were not agents looking after me. They left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I just wanted to find a good home for me and my family. After the meeting (I did not sign anything) I looked up Wayne Muir Scam and found this site. Bless you for helping us get the word out about this predator. He should burn for his behaviour!

Scam stay away

Started rent to own and put down $10000 1st Month no problem. Second month I got hurt at work and my wife was getting a new job which held 2 weeks pay. Before the second month payment was due I payed half of payment, due to waiting on wsib. I stayed in contact with investor to let him know what was going on. He said no problem, 2 days later I get him pounding on the front door then goes to back yard and enters the house demanding his money.2 days After I talked with him. 3days after I have Cindy a member of Wayne Muir's team coming to evict us and she was supposed to put eviction on all windows doors cars and fences.... SCAM SCAM SCAM STAY AWAY save your hard earned money

Wayne Muir sold my first home.

His service was good, but his advice was wrong. I contacted him to find out what my house was worth, but I told him that I didn't wish to list yet, because I thought my next house was going to be delayed and that the market was still heating up.

However, he came over to pitch his services and convinced me to list early.

As it turned out, I listed early; sold my house at asking price; but had to move in with family for 6 months, because my new house was delayed.

Anyway, the couple I had sold my house to ended up separating after only 8 months. They resold my house for $20,000 more. Ouch. Had I not listened to Wayne, I would have made another $20,000. That's a lot of cash.

In regards to the service, I can't complain. His staff were professional and he handled the final negotiations well.

However, I still think about that $20,000 I lost...
