The owners — Dr. George Akinkuoye, PMHNP-BC, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Dr. Robert Ferrell, a Doctor of Neurology — had a vision of creating a private therapy practice to enable access to skilled, highly trained mental health care professionals; thus, they founded Medical Community Psychotherapy LLC in 2019. Our practice brings together a broad range of experienced mental health practitioners, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Our combined expertise allows us to diagnose and treat a number of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more.
