Very poor dishes and whatever we asked for the waiter to add on such as potatoes or else ! She said I’m sorry we have fixed menus, no add on.
We ordered fish and steak they were very poor presented and no taste at all with nothing to have to add on , no fries or mashed or vegetables at all weather fish or steak.
The waitress Blythe was very nice and embarrassed but she couldn’t do anything because poor girl was ordered so. At the end we ordered espresso makitto with they couldn’t make a simple macchiato .
It’s a disaster restaurant do waisted your money. But the location is ok.

I had a really nice late lunch today. This was my first time visiting Cafe Nervosa. Really enjoyed the service and the lasagna was truly one of the best tasting flavors I've ever had. Melted in my mouth and the presentation was superb.

My server Luca was funny and hospitable. The staff here are very warm and friendly.

Whenever I'm in the neighborhood and looking for my Italian fix I'm coming here.

The other dishes looked amazing as well.

Thank you for a fantastic lunch.

Stayed in the Four Seasons right next to it. After trying several restaurants in the area, this was my favorite. Food and wine list is very good, prices are reasonable and the ambience is incredible. Will come back.

Food was amazing, we’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now after seeing an online review and we were finally in the area. Server was lovely, everything was fast and delicious. We’re a younger group and they didn’t treat us differently which is nice in that area! Bonus that we ended up sitting next to Vince Vaughn which was crazy cool!

Such a bad customer service. We booked a table on the terrace as a family with our kids. They entered our phone number in the system to send us a text message when the table is ready. We received the text and let them know that we are on our way to the restaurant. Upon arrival, the woman at the door said they sent us the message unintentionally and could not find us on their booking system. They returned us from the door instead of solving the problem. We all sensed that it is racism against us because while we were talking to them at the door, they were sending new customers to the terrace.

2 plates 10/10 , 1 plate 8/10, 1 plate returned (Caccio & Peppe: poorly prepared, dry and ). Service 10/10 ( Giselle ), Other servers very good
The 20% tip was calculated including tax : that's dishonest,

We visited for lunch on a Sunday afternoon as a group of eight and requested a table for three. The hostess was warm, welcoming, and went out of her way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet the expectations one might have for an Italian restaurant in Yorkville. We tried three different pizzas, and all of them were overwhelmingly salty—definitely a letdown. On a brighter note, the pasta was well-prepared and enjoyable.

Service from our server was average—efficient enough, with no major issues, but nothing particularly memorable either.

Overall, the experience was decent, but given the location and reputation, we had hoped for a higher standard of both food and service.

Met friends for dinner. Recommendations were made for food and was both appreciative and impressed. Every single dish equally as or more so delicious as the next. Atmosphere was electric with incredibly efficient and with the most friendly staff. Chef David Sibio has definitely elevated the food and dishes prepared, both visually pleasing with outstanding flavour. An absolute must and highly recommend.

What a wonderful time, the menu is inviting, like you’re eating at your grandmas kitchen.
Each dish is beautifully done. Each time I dine here, I always enjoy my meals.
The sizes are perfect either to share or maybe 1-2 dishes for person
( I personally had app/main and dessert)
I was feeling adventurous/
Was also lucky to have the best seat of the house and also had Luca as my server and he was a delight!

Although the food was delicious, there were several things lacking, which will stop me from returning. Pasta dishes did not include any bread. Not even a single slice! There was no fresh cheese or ground pepper offered. The waiter did not return to ask how our meals were and we waited quite a long time for our check. We felt ignored and suspect it was due to our relatively small order. Also I was disappointed to see the restaurant was inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues.

The team behind this restaurant truly understands the art of great food coupled with excellent support from the servers. It makes for a wonderful evening.

I am literally sitting On the patioat Trattoria Nirvosa, as I write this.
My server was Chloe.
She is absolutely lovely, attentive, and provided such brilliant personable service.
I ordered their Caesar salad with a side of shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a half litre of wine, which was lovely. But I will say that Chloe was absolutely fantastic and she deserves to be recognized for her extraordinary service.
Thank you for a great experience this Friday afternoon.
I will be back.

Extremely disappointed in the service. Quite unattentive and impersonal. Had to flag our waiter down for everything.. ordering drinks, ordering food, asking for the bill. We used to love this spot, not so much anymore.

This is a cozy little place to dine in, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it a nice choice for a relaxed meal. The restaurant has two floors, which adds a bit of character, and with the patio now open, it’s a great spot to enjoy some fresh air when the weather is nice. Just a heads-up—the tables are quite close to each other, so it’s worth being mindful of your conversations and movement, especially during busy times.

The food menu is fairly limited, but the items offered are nicely prepared. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are decent—just enough for one person to feel satisfied without being overly full. It’s a solid pick if you’re in the mood for something simple and comforting.

Our food did take a bit longer than expected to arrive, which was a slight downside, especially if you’re hungry or on a tighter schedule. That said, the overall experience was still pleasant.

A special shout-out to Shariar, who was kind enough to treat us to a complimentary tiramisu—what a lovely surprise! He’s a former colleague of mine, so it was really nice to reconnect and see a familiar face. That thoughtful gesture definitely added a personal touch to our visit.

All in all, it’s a good place to unwind over a meal, especially now that the patio is open. A few small adjustments could enhance the experience, but the cozy vibe and friendly gesture made the visit memorable.
