Superior Management owner Jim Matthews of the McDiarmid Lumber family is unprofessional. His business practices is that of a childish bully. He has been sued by several businesses that lease from him. He built a fence around the Bank of Montreal, dumped huge rocks around Terri's Unisex Hair Salon and Tanning as well as D-Jay's Restaurant and Ichabod's Lounge & Patio in the Westwood Mall inhibiting parking for customers of these businesses. BMO sued Superior Management and won, forcing them to remove the fence. D-Jay's had been operating in the Westwood area for over 40 years when this unethical, greedy Jerk comes along in 2007, purchases the Mall and mistreats it tenants. He should be totally ashamed of himself!

Superior Management is an unethical, unprofessional company owned by Jim Matthews of the McDiarmid Lumber family. (Father is Ted Matthews, who apparently is a more decent fellow than son Jim.) All you have to do is visit the boulders at Westwood Centre which began to be constructed shortly after Superior Management bought the property about eight years ago. Since purchasing this property, Superior Management has escalated in its bullying treatment of adjacent private owners, Bank of Montreal and D-Jay's Restaurant, by constructing fences and winter snow piles, and then boulders and buildings to isolate these companies from parking on Superior Management Property. Bank of Montreal took them to court successfully to force removal of their fence, so at least boulders were not placed around their property, just around D-Jay's. This company has found itself in Court of Queen's Bench at least 16 times, apparently, because of its highly unprofessional bullying tactics and unfiendly community attitudes. Best not to lease from this company, as you may find your business boycotted until the rocks come down in front of D-Jay's!
