I am an academic nephrologist and physician-scientist with clinical interests and expertise in the management of polycystic kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte disorders, and acute kidney injury. Specifically, my research is focused on polycystic kidney disease pathogenesis to identify new therapeutic targets, epithelial solute transport and its coupling to cellular metabolic changes, and identifying new therapeutic targets for kidney diseases.
