Cloth Shop

The Cloth Shop, located on upper 10th Avenue, close to the UBC gates, is pleasantly stuffed with a careful selection of the latest fabric industry releases, targeted at the home craft and quilting sewer. Dotted around the shop are various completed quilts and projects, generally set close to the appropriate bolts of fabric. A range of classes is offered, and in store you can find the lovely Bella Moon line of quilts and smaller projects, generally a contemporary take on traditional quilting completed with a careful eye to fresh design and colour. The shop is well worth a visit.

Quibbles:
-would like to see more newly released fabrics (can you ever get too many great fabrics in one place?!)
-Bella Moon kits require more detailed instructions (advanced sewers will be fine, beginners will flounder a bit)
-wider selection of fat quarters would be nice
-regular updates and project sheets on web page would be nice too
