Susanna Anderson, CNM joined Fort Sanders Women's Specialists in 2023. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee, she received a second Bachelor's degree in nursing from Mercer University and worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery for eight years. She attended Frontier Nursing University for her Master's degree, specializing in midwifery care. Susanna is passionate about educating and caring for her patients on a personal level, emphasizing transparency, communication, and shared decision-making, as well as including their partners and families in their care. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics, and also sees women outside of pregnancy for their gynecological care and concerns, including annual well-woman exams and contraception counseling. A Knoxville native who was born at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Susanna enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.
