My toilet was leaking water into the tank. I called Delta plumbing because it showed 4+ stars. They gave me a quote first which was, I thought, over the top and said that would buy a new toilet, (over £300) Having been widowed fairly recently I thought I'd better get it done now because my water bill will be expensive if it's not fixed quickly. They charged me almost £340. I still think I've been ripped off. Unhappy customer, wish I'd had someone to advise me.

I had a quote for leak repairs from another plumber and I wanted to get more quotes to decide where to go to. I talked to a lady from Delta Plumbers on the phone and she said they couldn’t give me an estimate quote by the phone and that was ok for me. I told her that I had already a quote from another company and she said that they could match that quote, so I agreed with the visit. The plumber came and told me that it would cost X (which was more than double than my previous quote). I told him that I only agreed with the visit because the lady said they could match the price. He asked me to talk to her again. I called her and she said that she never said she was going to match the quote. I told her that the only reason I agreed with the visit was because they were going to match it. Otherwise I was going to find other plumbers that could give me more clear estimate of costs. They wanted me to pay $89+tax for the visit. Which was really unfair since there was a clear misinformation by the phone. I had to talk to another person from the company and he agreed to lower the visit price after lots of explanation. I don’t think it was even fair to charge this visit because it was really a waste of time for me. I understand there is the cost of someone coming to my place, but giving the lack of transparency of the situation, they could have been more understanding of my side of the story. Overall, the way the lady was pushing me to book the visit and the way the guy on the phone was pushing me to pay for the visit made me feel harassed.
I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

These guys tried to hustle me in my own home, which felt very disrespectful. They quoted me over $600 to clear a simple clog in the kitchen drain. After I pushed back on the price, they started negotiating and dropped the price to about $550, which is still outrageously overpriced, considering I later found someone else to do the job for less than $300.

If it was truly a $600 job, they would’ve stood firm on the price. Entering into negotiations tells me that they don’t even believe in the price that they quoted me. They also wanted a 50% deposit on the $600. Meaning, I could still be out $300 if they failed to clear the clog.

It seems that their MO is to highball you then negotiate down. This exchange felt very dishonest and it left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend these guys to anyone.

Brad arrived 2 hours late without a phone call to let me know. I had to contact the office. Price quote for a simple kitchen faucet replacement was close to $500.00. I told him to leave and got a name brand installer to do the exact same job for $179.09. Delta Plumbers were quick to charge me their $89.00 service fee for a service not provided.

I was so impressed with the speed and quality of service. Called about a busted toilet, and they were here in less than an hour. Not only did they fix it, but they also gave me advice on how to avoid future issues.

For our construction project, this plumber fixed a clogged drain, installed a new shower, and replaced the toilet. Their professionalism was impressive, and our neighbors were pleased with how little disruption there was.
