I contacted this company due to them being local. They dispatched two plumbers (very very young), whom I do not believe were master plumbers. They informed me that we would require a new cartridge and the fee for this is 734.50, we felt this was kind of high but we agreed to and paid a deposit for the work to be done. It was a Friday and they said they would try to get the part and have it installed for Sat. After they left they called and said that the another part was broken and that would cost another 1200 or so dollars. So I said lets wait on that and I'll get back to you. We went to Rona that night and the gentlemen said that we were basically getting ripped off! I called Delta and asked for a manager. I was told by their rude receptionist that they were not available and they would call me back. We then contact the manufacturer of the fixture on Monday. I ordered the part from them that we needed, and it WASN'T what they charged us for! I then went to the address of the office of Delta in Guelph, and low and behold THEY DO NOT HAVE AN OFFICE THERE! When I googled them they have various other locations across Toronto with diff phone numbers and so I called them and guess what THEY ALL WERE ANSWERED BY THE SAME RUDE RECEPTIONIST!!!!! My husband attended the address that was on the invoice and demanded our money back from the "manager" that this woman said would call me back and he told my husband he knew nothing of needing to contact me. They refunded us the money, however upon investigating I find out it is illegal to advertise locations and then NOT HAVE THESE actual locations!!! This is what the Province calls Marketing FRAUD!!!!! My advice is stay clear of this company.

Pros: came very quickly, plumber was friendly and respectful and did not pressure me into using their quote.
Cons: way overcharge their customers (3x what I actually paid a different plumbing company to repair it).

My water shutoff valve recently stopped working. Not an emergency but I wanted it replaced. I called Delta Plumbers, asked on the phone if they had a rough idea what cost I might be looking at. Got the standard answer "I cannot discuss pricing over the phone".
Plumber came, he was great. Easy to diagnose (really nothing to diagnose...the valve was clearly not working). The company charges about $100 for the diagnostic visit. The plumber gave me a quote for $1100 plus tax (just for a water shutoff valve replacement!). I said that sounded like a LOT, and he immediately went to call his boss and was able to knock the price down to about $975 plus tax. Why wouldn't they offer the best price right away? Is that so they can rip off customers who don't know better to know that price is too much? I asked for a breakdown of costs (materials vs labour vs warranty) and was told that is just a flat rate. Note their website mentions "upfront pricing" which doesnt sound like they follow, since no breakdown of costs and they changed the price immediately when I questioned it. They would also waive the $100 diagnostic fee if I decided on the spot to hire them to fix it (company tactic to pressure customer to not shop around for quotes?).
This cost didn’t feel right so I called around a bit and sent him on his way. I ended up hiring a different local company who invoiced me about $290 plus tax ($60 parts, ~$230 labour) for the 1.5-2hr job.

I had a slow draining bathtub and a malfunctioning toilet. Peter from Delta Plumbers fixed them both quickly. Excellent service and a job well done!
