Delta Plumbers Cobourg

I will give them one star for finding my house. Company advertised that they were Delta Cobourg and I find out they came from Vaughan arriving 40 minutes after 3-5 appointment window, They looked at my partially clogged kitchen sink and quoted me $1750 for hydro blast or $750 to snake it. I asked them to leave my home immediately as these prices are outrageous! I have had this done before and it was a couple of hundred dollars. After leaving my home I received a new quote for $508 by email for some reason? DON'T LET THESE GUYS NEAR YOUR PIPES.

Not from Cobourg and felt pressured to sign a form even though I didn’t agree to anything.
They were unable to tell me how long they have been around and although their ratings look good found reviews that support overcharging and misinformation

Did a google search for plumber in Cobourg ON and found Delta Plumbers listed as 24 hours services. Turns out they are NOT located in Cobourg at all.
I was told someone would be on site between 5 and 7pm on Saturday and a C refundable diagnostic fee of $149.99 would apply. No problem
No one showed up and when I called back a service tech called me and asked for photos or video of the leak. I provided a video of the leak in the side of the water tank. He said it was too late to purchase a new water tank if that was the problem so would show up at 9am Sunday instead. I told him to bring a water heater with him and replace it.
Sunday morning at 11am a technician tells me that the tank needs to be replaced (yes I know). He tells me the quote is $2800 + tax to replace the tank. 😳😳😳
What choice do I have but to agree provided the work is done on Sunday. I should have gone to the store myself and bought a tank.
I receive the invoice and pay the required 50% deposit of $1,582.00 - not an Itemized invoice . A new 40 gallon water tank at Home Depot in that day was $509.00
I had to call back to get an update but heard from the tenant before the company that the work was complete.
I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

I will go without water and get a reputable plumber instead going forward.

I wanted to fix a leaking pipe myself but due to it being an older home I knew it was going to be a lot of work. Tony came out and was 100% transparent . I was 100% satisfied that I called professional instead of doing it my self

I recently had a plumbing emergency and called Delta. They said to expect a plumber between 2:00-4:00 and I had Max show up at 3:00. He called to let me know he was on his way. He was very thorough and super friendly and he didn't leave until he knew the job was done properly and that I wouldn't have anymore issues. I would definitely call them again.
