Poorly managed and highly unorganized company. We paid a deposit, but no work was ever completed, and despite repeated requests, our deposit has not been returned.

Gracie, who answers the calls, is polite but unfortunately unable to provide any real information or assistance. Every time we’ve spoken with her, she has needed to “check with another department,” with no resolution. The only thing she seems able to do is take payments.

Rob, the manager, is never available, and no one in the office claims to have a way to reach him. This raises serious red flags. In many cases, companies that refuse or delay returning deposits have already spent that money and do not have the funds available to issue a refund.

It is concerning that a company like Delta Plumbers, who markets themselves heavily across the GTA as a professional service provider, would operate in this way. After four separate phone calls to their office with no progress, I feel the only way to move forward is to share my experience publicly.

I would much prefer to write a positive review, but until this issue is resolved and our deposit is returned, I cannot recommend this company. I sincerely hope someone from Delta Plumbers reaches out promptly to resolve this matter.

Excellent experience. We had no heat and they found the problem was with the broken valve. Fixed it right away and made sure everything was running smoothly before they left!

I had a rusted out drain which was causing a leak. When I touched the drain housing it started to disintegrate in my hand. I contacted Delta and they sent Chris who came within 2 hours. He was very courteous and understood right away what the problem was A quote was written up, which I accepted. Chris went to his van and was able to repair our rusted drain parts. He also cleaned out alot of junk in the trap. Confirmed no leak. Great Job Chris! I have you in my contact list.

Clogged drain in the kitchen. Required a hydro jet to clear the drain through to where it connects with the street. No complaints with the job. My complaint is that the cost was extremely high. 1800 dollars. If you have the option and don't need the job done immediately, I advise calling other plumbers to find a more reasonable charge for this hydro jet job.

We wanted to install a bidet add-on to our toilet, but discovered that we had a copper hose and valve which were very old; when we went to shut off the water to the toilet, the valve seized and caused a leak. After fiddling with it, we couldn’t get the leak to stop and had to shut the water off to our home. We called Delta on a Saturday night, and they were the only emergency plumbing company to pick up. We were in a bit of a panic, so we really appreciate that the lady we spoke with at Delta was so calm, and was able to book us with a plumber for the next morning (a Sunday!) Roh arrived and installed a new flex hose and valve- he was professional and very helpful. The price was totally fair considering it was a weekend emergency call. Thank you so much Roh and Delta Plumbers, you saved the day!

Kitchen sink was clogged. Asked on the phone how much it would be but they said it would depend on too many factors. When they came they quoted me $800 for snaking or $1800 for the aqua jet. He said both would come with a 1 year warranty so I could call back if the clog reocurred. I paid a 50% deposit then they handed me a contract to sign that only indicated a year warranty on parts. I asked that a note be included about the warranty on the clog. He said that a warranty could not be provided as it could be a new clog. This upset me as he had just said that there was a warranty. I asked for my money back. He said that a note would be added to the file. I told him that wasn't good enough and I wanted it written into the contract or my money back. He finally agreed after having to call his boss.

To make matters worse when he was removing the sink drain basket he broke one. It was old but he immediately offered to replace it for $200 or $400 total (it's a double sink). We declined and my husband replaced them for $30 each. Terrible experience.

Received a no-show appointment without any call or message to update me.

I booked an appointment for Sunday between 10 am. and 12pm. to fix a valve issue. First, nobody showed up within the time range given, i called them after waiting an extra half hour around 12.30 to check if someone is coming. They let me know that they can check what's holding up and they'll give me a call back, and I never received a call back, one hour later I call them again, just to find out no one is available to come to my house to fix it and they want to reschedule it next day.

I understand that delays happen, but I would expect such a big business to at least let the customers know that they will be late or want to reschedule. Like, you guys took my phone number and email too, there were so many ways to contact me.

We had what we thought was an emergency with our kitchen sump pump. I called one or two places, but they were expensive and not able to come the same day. I contacted Delta Plumbers in Barrie; to my surprise, they were ready to send someone out almost immediately. We had plans for part of the day, but this didn't seem to be a problem. In fact, two of their plumbers were in touch very quickly.

Jarrid arrived promptly and was thorough and quick to analyze the issue. He explained everything to us and provided all the information we required. As it turned out, we did not need work done immediately, but we will keep our eye on things and be back in touch with Delta and Jarrid if we do need to proceed.

He was courteous and professional and we were happy with the cost of the service call. I'd highly recommend this company and Jarrid. Thank you.
