We had a clogged drain in our bathroom that wouldn’t clear on its own. Delta Plumbers in Ajax arrived promptly and used the right tools to clear it without damaging the pipes. Very professional and friendly service!

Had an awful experience today, resulting in a damaged floor in my bathroom and a cut through the wall into another room. The timeline included:

- Booked appointment earlier in the week for 9-11am arrival
- Plumber showing up on time, assessing the job for the first hour and then said he need to leave to get materials. He stated he would return at 1:00pm
- Plumber did not return but at 1:30pm a new individual arrived. New individual needed to be briefed on job and then began work. No call was ever received stating a change in plumber. I walked into the other room and a new individual was now in my house
- Work included relocate of PVC pipe behind wall for sink vanity, connection to new vanity once PVC line was relocated for clearance
- A side wall was pierced during the relocate of a stack, of which the plumber never came to identify the damage on the other side of the wall
- Work was completed around 4pm. The individual had to leave twice because he did not have the components based on two check ins regarding the work and the initial intake (online form)
- A bag of garbage was left at the door of my bathroom and light cleaning was done by the plumber on-site
- Post install, I observed our vinyl floor had burn marks and PVC glue coverage. I believe this was from the drill into the wood joists to clear the PVC and where the work was being staged
- Sent an email to their info email with photos and fairly shortly received a call from a female. Female stated because they did not do soldering today that no burns could have occurred.
- She then passed me over to someone stating to be a manager but he would not provide his name. He then proceeded to argue, place blame on myself and encouraged me to go through my insurance because they have valid evidence that they did not damage or burn the flooring. Despite trying to reason with them, encourage them to come visit the site and smell the active wood smell that still persists from the drilling and cutting of wood, stated manager hangs up on me
- They would not provide who they were, their position, or if I had been billed for the work. To note, I was immediately billed for the work afterwards despite these issues. They refused to provide any next steps, threatened to cut contact unless I provided a video of the area
- I then received a phone call from Rob (identified as a manager) who stated I had asked him to call me and was wondering why. This caused a confusing start to the call, because I was advised that nothing was going to be done today and that I had to provide video evidence for anything to occur going forward or to illicit additional responses. I then had to explain for a third time in an hour what had happened
- I have just sent Rob some photos, so now we will go from there

In a time when I want to support Canadian companies, this entire ordeal was incredibly disheartening and damaging. I paid $1,243 for the work completed today, so I would cause caution with simply how I was treated when I expressed concern about the damage to my house. I was repeatedly told - "What do you want us to do?", "We have evidence it wasn't us" or by a manager "It's not my problem". I would not recommend someone who can't own their outcomes. I want to say I will always try my best not to undervalue trades workers, as a lot of people don't take into account the school, tools, supplies, experence, etc. It takes to do this kind of work, but I feel like we were overcharged for what we needed done. We had a simple clogged toilet, and after the plumber confirmed the clog was in the toilet (with an $89 deposit fee that did end up going towards our total) we were quoted at $400 to unclog the toilet. My partner and I understood that if we said no we were out the $89 inspection fee, so we went ahead. From the time the plumber walked into our bathroom to when he walked out it was a total of 4 min.... and we were clear with the company that this was NOT an emergency, as we have another bathroom to use till this one was fixed. A quick Google search showes the average fee for this service in our area is "between $150 and $350, with an average cost around $250". The service was fine, but the cost was way more than we were expecting. We are new home owners and we for sure have several renovations in our future, but I think we will be looking somewhere else for a more reasonable price.

I had a plumbing emergency in Niagara Falls and called Delta Plumbers. They responded quickly and fixed my broken pipe without any hassle. The technicians were courteous and knowledgeable. I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process.

I want to share my awful experience with Delta Plumbers. This is the first time requesting their services and I decided to trust them as it was a recommendation from someone that I knew. I had a water leak in the kitchen that I needed to fix as soon as possible as I was working together with my home insurance to make some repairs in my kitchen; A tech came in the first time and "fixed" the damage, just to find out later that same day the water leak continued. I asked them to come back to fix it and while trying to come up with a solution with them, the tech tells me he will come back next day at 8:00am to fix the problem (I want to add up that they still charged me extra money for something that I already paid). Anyway, I needed the job to get done as soon as possible so I accepted even though I knew it wasn't fair to me. They do not show up the next day as if this was some kind of a joke, I called them again that morning to make sure someone is coming and they said "we didn't agree to anything, for that reason nobody will be coming", so that means their word means nothing to this kind of businesses. I had to ask them many times to send someone to my house to finish what they already started, after trying many times they finally sent someone over. I have never had such a bad experience with any services than I did with Delta Plumbers, not to mention the stress I got from dealing with them and the waist of time and money.
