We came here on the way to a Jays game. We had the Happy Hour Appetizer Tower which was excellent - Sliders, lobster roll, oysters, shrimp sushi and truffle fries - All of it was very good. Cocktails were great and the service was very good as well. It was not overly expensive considering the quality of the food and drinks we had - we will definitely be coming back

Amazing experience from start to finish. Fairmont Royal York concierge Matt happily arranged our reservation, and from the moment we walked into Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was smiling and genuinely happy to help. Daniel, our server, was incredibly passionate while describing the steaks and menu items, and Scott, Head Wine Sommelier, perfectly paired the wine with our ribeye steak from Erin, Ontario. Every detail made for a perfect night. Highly recommend for an elevated dining experience in Toronto.

We celebrated our anniversary at Blue Bovine and it truly felt special from the moment we arrived. I went with my fiancé, and the entire team made us feel genuinely celebrated and taken care of all night.
The service was amazing—everyone we interacted with was warm, friendly, and attentive. Our server Bogdan was incredibly welcoming and polite, and made fantastic recommendations. The food was a solid 10/10. Great presentation too.
One of the highlights was the tableside caesar salad prepared by Minaj. Not only was it delicious, but his unforgettable personality made the whole experience even more fun and memorable.
Overall, it was an incredible dining experience and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back.

The food was good.

The service was spot on. Perhaps it was empty on a Friday night , they are much busier during the day downtown. We had all the attention so Friday nights with no sports teams playing is a perfect time to go.

Took my teenage daughter for steak dinner while visiting Toronto. Conveniently located at Union station. We made reservation through open tables. Arrived early and no issued getting seated. We ordered tuna tartar, center fillet 8 oz, asparagus, wagyu burger, and garlic potato. Tuna tartar was delicious with great flavor. My daughter‘s steak was cooked perfect and juicy. Paring salts made even yummier. Asparagus was disappointing . Overcooked and no flavor. Garlic potato was amazingly smooth and great flavor. I didn’t finish my burger with duck fat fries. Probably the worst burger and most expensive burger I ever had. I am not a steak person so ordered burger. $45 CA burger was overpriced and no flavor. Male server who brought food was extremely rude. My daughter said thank you when she received her food. He didn’t reply to her. We had to ask for done bread as well but the. Kept asking whether we want something other than water was annoying, we usually don’t drink anything other than water with our meals. If you plan to go have meal with family, have meals before 5. once DJ start playing music, it got really loud.

Vibe was on point—dim lighting, chill energy, and honestly a great spot for a date. From the attentive servers to the atmosphere, this place delivered an exceptional experience. The happy hour menu was a pleasant surprise: we ordered steak, cocktails, and several appetizers, all excellent.

It picks up around 4 to 5 PM, so arrive early if you want a quieter vibe. Fair warning: the bill adds up quickly, even during happy hour. That said, if you're looking for a refined spot tucked away in downtown Toronto, this is well worth checking out.

The location was excellent, making it easy to find. The space was spacious, so we could enjoy our meal comfortably, and the interior was elegant, with impressive artworks to admire.

There was a wide variety of menu options, including steak and sushi, which made it easy to choose. The food was delicious, and the service was great as well.

We visited around 2 PM, after the lunch rush, so it was very quiet, which we really enjoyed. If you want to have a peaceful meal, I recommend going before dinner time.

Superb!

I came here for my birthday with friends, we ordered their sushi, steak and mac n cheese. Every item tasted beyond perfection. Sushis were well wrapped . Steak was tender and juicy. And mac n cheese was tasty.

We ordered wine too which was great. All my friends loved the place.

And they brought a came for my birthday and at the end they had the nice gesture of putting the cork in a small box and gifting it to me with a hand written note wishing me happy birthday.

Memorable night thanks to them. Will go back!

If you want decent steak or sushi , you can’t go wrong here!

Very nicely renovated and a great place for a business lunch. The Union Station area was definitely lacking an upscale restaurant such as this one. Do not miss having to travel to the financial district to find a nice restaurant open during daytime hours! The service and reservation process were all smooth. The booth we were seated at was comfortable and appropriately sized for our odd group of 5.

Food wise, the caesar salad was absolutely amazing. I wish I ordered one for myself (I shared it). Perfectly dressed and so crunchy. I believe it was around $20, which was a bit pricey for a salad with no meat, but it was worth it. Of course, I had to try a steak, so I got the 8oz AAA Striploin with duck fat fries ($36) from the lunch menu. I found my steak to be just okay, but my coworker said his 6oz filet mignon ($38) was amazing. I should have just gone for that cut! I saw a lot of people trying the seafood tower, which would be good if you're ordering to impress. I've also included photos of the tuna tartare and octopus lunch dish that others ordered.

Overall, it was a positive experience. I think the lunch menu price is very fair and it's not busy at all during those times. Would come back and maybe try the filet mignon.

You deserve to treat yourself with the best. I highly recommend you give yourself the dining experience you'll never forget and thank yourself for as long as you can remember.
From the sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere, to the amazing, friendly, helpful and always attentive staff - our server Amy was incredible! She took care of us with so much love, flair and passion it's as if she was made for this location and role.
Ofcourse there's the food, it's as if each plate was made from a slice of heaven with ingredients harvested from that very place. The drink menu was absolutely amazing and delicious.
It's one of those places where the phrase, you get what you pay for, doesn't do it justice.
Oh and you must leave room for dessert.
Treat yourself! You deserve this!
I can't wait to return.

Excellent experience at Blue Bovine for an early dinner.

The server was attentive. And they also know how to create an “experience” from recommending the dishes with passion to the whole making the Cesar salad in front of you.

The steak came with three types of salts. And you can also order side dishes to share with your companions.

The sushi was nicely presented. Flavorful. The pickled ginger that came with the dish felt “fresh” and great to clean your palate.

From the bread, sushi, burger to the steaks, we enjoyed the overall experience. Food quality was great. And I find the price was what you would expect with the location, ambience and food quality.

We were too full to try the recommended baked Alaska dessert. Maybe next time.
