Dr. Alverson earned her Doctorate of Optometry from UAB in 1998. She has served on the Alabama Optometric Association’s Board and was Alabama Young Optometrist of the Year in 2004. From 2003 to 2010, she led the InfantSEE program in Alabama. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at UAB’s School of Optometry and an Attending Optometric Physician in the Primary Care Clinic. She is passionate about providing comprehensive medical eye care to enhance her patients' vision and quality of life.
