I do not give out compliments and recommendations easily and have high standards for the contractors I hire for work done on my house. Jamison basement waterproofing and their workers certainly fit the bill for my high standards and earned my compliments and recommendations.

Steve, John and Kevin showed up promptly at 0745 to install three block windows for my basement and update two window wells. Steve left after he got John and Kevin set up on the job. John and Kevin laid paper in my kitchen to minimize dirt tracking between the back entry and the basement, completed all the remaining prep work of laying out all the needed materials for the task and then got right down to work. John and Kevin did a Superb, A-Number One job installing the windows and updating the two window wells. I, being curious about how this particular kind of job was done, watched them do some of the work and asked some questions, John and Kevin were very amenable and friendly and encouraged me to ask questions about the procedure, all of which they answered very nicely. When the installation was complete they took away all my old windows, cleaned up all the detritus and dirt from the job and after they left, except for the new windows and window wells, it was so clean it was as if they had never been there. Two thumbs up for both John and Kevin. I also have Jamison scheduled for a second job of settlement crack & brick patch pointing of my house, chimney was repair & crown coating and a porch tile replacement, I will give a review after that job is complete. If one needs basement work or basement windows installed, I Highly recommend Jamison and if I need any more basement work done by Jamison, I will absolutely ask to have both John and Kevin on that crew for the work. We had a major foundational issue after PECO installed a gas line to our house to install a generator - and water was pouring in on the walls and floor nearly sizzling our electrical system to the entire house. Jamison was referred to us and Steve took our call right away, and sent over one of his team members to check out the issue within just a couple hours. The very next day, his seven member crew was at our home repairing everything. They waterproofed the foundation and basement and close the whole that PECO made.They installed a new sump pump and also fixed a window well that was leaking. They were professional, honest, and hard-working. And we highly recommend them to anybody. Thanks Steve and the crew. Job well done.

Our basement needed a whole overhaul, it smelled musty and we were worried about moisture behind the wood paneling. Jamison gave us an estimate right away. Ken was thorough with his assessment of our needs and answered any questions. Steve reached out through text with a date for our project and was even flexible with the start date. The team was professional, efficient and cleaned up after each day. They gutted our whole basement ripping out all the wood paneling, old carpet, drop ceiling and linoleum. They even helped carry out an old heavy metal desk left by the previous owners. Peco even shut the power off for three hours but they brought a generator and were able to keep working. They found black mold behind the walls and treated it. Installed vapor barrier, new French drain with a sump pump. I feel very confident we won’t have any more mold or water issues in our basement.

Finally pulled the trigger installing a perimeter foundation drain, sump pump(s) and dehumidifier in our 100-year old Colonial in Elkins Park!

Instead of using just a jackhammer, he saw cut the existing concrete floor, leaving a nice finished edge, and ensured all segments of the perimeter drainage system flowed to the sump.

The crew covered all with plastic to keep dust to a minimum, and they were in and out in 2-days! Well done.

For reference, I used BQ basements at another property, and the Jamison basements system is simply superior quality AND installation.

Ryan at Jamison Home Services made all the difference in our project. From his very first visit, he quickly identified the source of incoming water and gave us a clear, confident plan to fix it. He was respectful, highly knowledgeable about the scope of work, and even came out on-site during installation to ensure everything was done right.

The crew who completed the installation were extremely professional and took the time to understand our concerns and vision for the finished product. Their attention to detail gave us complete confidence in the system we installed.

We met with two different companies before choosing Jamison, and unlike others, they never used pushy sales tactics or pressured us into an agreement. Instead, they offered reassurance, a solid warranty, and the promise of continued customer service—which gave us confidence in moving forward.

Our experience was top notch from start to finish. We initially met with Ken, who was extremely knowledgable and honest about what needed to be done to our basement. He wasn't trying to push anything, but he made us feel confident in their product compared to other quotes we got.

In the end, we went with wall removal (they took all of the wood paneling from our basement to dispose), MMR Mold Spray, a Grate Drain Perimeter System, and a Grate Sump + Dual Gs Liner / High Water Alarm. This service also comes with a 1st Annual Maintenance. They were prompt and flexible with scheduling the job.

On the day of installation, Steve, Juan, Jose, and Jamal were excellent. When they tapped into existing drainage pipes outside, they were able to unclog a drain that was hidden beneath grass and dirt from the previous owners. They even removed a smaller portion of another wall in the basement just to ensure there wasn't mold growth behind an additional section. Prior to the job, we expressed our concern about ventilation as they were removing the moldy panels, but their system and preparation before removal was fantastic.

We've had a couple electricians come out to the basement for other work and all have commented on how well done the job is. With the recommendation of a dehumidifier in addition to the new drainage system, we have now mitigated our water issue in the basement! After several weeks of heavy rain, our new system has been working great! We would recommend Jamison Basement Waterproofing to anyone!

We delayed getting our waterproofing done for a long time to focus on other projects but just recently decided the time had come to finally get it done. I called for an estimate and within a weeks time, we had Ken out to measure and provide us with a quote. Ken was really great. Very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. We had other estimates lined up, but decided to cancel them after meeting with Ken and receiving the price, which we found to be very fair for the scope of work. After giving our deposit, we were scheduled for the work to be done a week later. Fernando and his crew showed up on time and reviewed everything with us, also answering our questions along the way. The guys did a phenomenal job. We wish we got this done years ago. Basement feels so much cleaner now. If you’re considering which waterproofing company to go with, I highly recommend using Jamison. Highly recommend Jamison for crawlspace encapsulation. Had them come out to install a French drain, encapsulation and sump pump with dehumidifier. Ryan was awesome to work with when he came out for the estimate and during the process of install. He worked with us when I wanted to add on a secondary project drink the work. Fernando was great while actually doing the install let us know each day when he was arriving and then when he was done for the day. When the job was complete he showed me everything that was done and left the site clean with nothing behind to clean up. Highly recommend them for any work that you need to have done!

I had been having some water seeping into basement for years, but managed to deal with it until recently after a flash thunderstorm that flooded the entire basement, including carpet pieces I had been using over the cement floor. I called Jamison late one afternoon after cleaning up for days, and Steve arranged for Ken McKnight, their estimator to come the very next morning. The solution was a French Drain with sump pump, and they schuleded it within a week. Steve and his crew, Raphael, Louis, and Nelson arrived early and began the tough work of digging the trench, carrying all the cement out and the stone in. Then the drain was placed and the pump installed, all within one day! They were very careful, polite and worked fast. And as they advertise, they leave your place as clean as when they arrive. Outstanding service and I couldn't be happier hearing the pump working during the recent rains, and no longer worrying about it. I highly recommend Jamison, and a very special thank you to Steve, Raphael, Louis, and Nelson for such great work!

Jamison installed a Sump Pump and parged an area of our basement walls. As the pictures show they did a fantastic job. Ryan was very knowledgeable and helped with a proposal that met our budget. He was always available to answer questions along the way. Luis and Juan and crew were very professional and courteous and were a pleasure to work with.
