I’ve worked with many photographers, but Kate’s work ethic and professionalism are by far number one.

We were shooting in an outdoor location that was unfamiliar to her, yet she came the day before to walk through the space with me and thoughtfully plan everything together. From her sense of lighting and composition to the way she translated our shared references and pre-shoot conversations into the final images, she stays fully focused until we get exactly the shot I’m looking for.

I recently had my portrait taken by Kate at Pacifica Studios. It was a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Kate patiently took numerous photos of me in different poses and in different outfits. All of these photos were emailed to me so I could choose my ten favorites. These ten photos Kate painstaking retouched, even eliminating clothing wrinkles. Throughout the process the lines of communication were clear. It was easy to contact Kate via text and email. I was very satisfied with my 10 retouched photos that Kate printed for me. Kate is literally the best photographer I have ever worked with! It was my first time ever getting my headshot taken so I was very nervous, and she made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire session! She helped by fixing my hair and shirt, guiding me on how to pose, and even by helping me find my best smile! She is extremely professional and recommended backdrops that went well with my outfit and skin color. She is very patient and will make sure you get your perfect picture, and I will definitely be booking all my future sessions with her!

Kate did an excellent job taking photos for me. Her photography style is very natural and captures daily life beautifully. Although we booked for 1 hour, the session ended up lasting over 2 hours, as Kate made sure I was completely satisfied with the results. She was incredibly patient and attentive to my needs.

We explored multiple spots on the Stanford campus, and at each location, Kate took the time to find the best angles, considering the background, lighting, shadows, and overall composition. In the end, the retouch part is also very detailed and of great quality. I highly recommend her business to any potential customers.
