Girgis & Ito Orthodontics Woodridge

My son just got his braces off and it has been a wonderful experience with Dr Girgis & Ito and the girls at the office. We highly recommend this orthodontist!!!

Dr Ito and Dr Girgis are the best! We enjoy visiting the office bc it’s a fun atmosphere! The office is family friendly, personable, and well run. The team is always welcoming and happy to see us, truly a fun loving environment. Today, Dr Ito hosted an espresso and ice cream bar. Cheers to great leadership, Thank you!

My fiancée had the pleasure of getting help from Sam & Dr. Ito and they were great! I would highly recommend them if you’re looking to find an orthodontist. The office is very clean and welcoming.

The staff and doctors are so friendly and knowledgeable! The office is a fun place to go. They have a couple of arcade gaming machines, a beautiful, huge fish tank, and free coffee, cappuccino, or latte machine for the adults. Dr. Girgis is a great orthodontist but more importantly, he is a great guy!

I can't recommend them because if something goes wrong or takes longer, Dr. Girgis will not communicate and does NOT respect his patients if they challenge him. Things went fine with my older son but with my daughter there was a MAJOR problem, lack of communication, and a SHAMEFUL final meeting with him regarding my daughter's treatment.

Three years ago we started my daughter's treatment and two years ago she had surgery to expose a pair of impacted teeth. One year ago she noticed that the last emerging tooth felt reversed/backwards. Dr. Girgis DISMISSED HER CONCERNS and told her she was wrong. He offered her no explanation and NEVER EVEN MENTIONED the issue to us. Now, with the tooth almost in position, my daughter is right that the tooth is FLIPPED BACKWARDS! It could have been rotated over the year as it's been slowly pulled into position if Dr. Girgis had listened to her and considered that he might have made a mistake. How could he not have seen that?! When we scheduled a meeting to ask about this, after our dentist confirmed it, he was very angry at us and said we were all wrong. He even said about our 15 yo daughter, "SHE'S A CHILD. SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING." Then he offered (or threatened) to pull the bracket off her tooth to prove he was right. We refused because he was angry and she was scared. So he said there was nothing he could do and we should seek treatment elsewhere if that's how we felt. He stormed out of the room, leaving the three of us, the tech, and another patient and tech nearby speechless.

The office manager was called and Dr. Ito stepped it. They handled things as best they could. Dr. Ito offered to continue treatment and casually mentioned that the tooth was rotated. He didn't know that Dr. Girgis had NEVER SAID ANYTHING to us about it. Dr. Ito said it would take another 6-8 months, when Girgis said the braces would be off in 2-3. So maybe Girgis was going to stop with a backwards tooth? I don't know, but we've long since paid off this office, so what do we do?

This morning my 12 year old daughter had the FREE consultation! There was availability BEFORE school hours! We had the consultation at 7am. Our experience was AMAZING! The facility is clean….full of Disney….and even better, full of amazing and helpful staff! We look forward to our Invisalign experience with Girgis & Ito Othro!

Both my kids have been to Dr. Girgis. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This office is so well run! You are always greeted by members of the staff with a smile and appointments are always on time! We are in and out but never feel rushed! Dr Gigis is available and friendly and goes above and beyond. I recommend them every time I get a chance! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr Girgis office is the best!
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Even years after my kids were out of braces, Dr Girgis remembers who you are and really cares about his patients. The office is clean and organized. I feel good about coming to Dr Girgis for my family’s orthodontic needs.

I had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable throughout the visit. Both Dr. Ito and Paige were thorough and took the time to explain the process of getting my braces on. I felt well cared for and confident in their expertise. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for quality orthodontic care!

Dr G and the entire staff are wonderful and very professional.. made my daughters day even more special! Her Quinceañera … my Son will be seeing them soon to see if he’ll require braces.. thank you for your kindness and professionalism.. I highly recommend them!
