Original review:
I dropped off my mower for a front-end part replacement and a seasonal tune-up. It was a running, driving unit that I used the self-propel to walk into their yard.

They kept it for nearly a month. When I picked it up, the bill was high enough that I assumed it covered both the repair and the tune-up. I took it home only to find it didn't work at all and had dried yellow fluid sprayed over the engine.

When I contacted them, they told me to bring it back. Instead of making it right, they charged me an additional diagnostic fee just to tell me the transmission was blown, which was something that worked perfectly when I dropped it off. Essentially, I paid a premium for them to hold my mower for a month, skip the tune-up, and break the transmission. Avoid this place.

Worst service around for Lawn Mowers. Do not take your mower here unless you have a spare sitting around to take care of your yard. Took our mower in on 5/8 and was told they were 2 weeks out. Called to check and they said no we are 3 weeks out. Called again this Monday and they said to be honest we don't know when we will get to it. Called today to let them know we would just pick it up and they didn’t care one bit. Got there and there were two cars in the shop getting worked on but all the mowers were outside. Won't recommend these guys to anyone.

I always take my SUV here to get an oil change; this is my 3rd oil change with them. I did not have an appointment, but they were able to get me in and out very quickly. And the staff were very friendly.

Not been very good so far. Still haven't gotten my vehicle back even though I've already paid for it. Twice I was told it was ready and upon picking it up didn't run. First engine they put in it was bad, seized up immediately. Then the starter was bad, battery was bad (even though it was 4 months old). When picking up the first time it wouldn't start. They determined the new starter was bad. Replaced that and was told it was good to go. New engine knocking pretty bad. When try to drive off car died 100 feet up the road. Car now back at the shop and who knows what's next.

I had a great experience at SEMO Automotive. The manager was very helpful in determining if the car I was looking to buy is a good or bad investment. I appreciate the honesty and thoroughness of their work.

Excellent service and excellent people. Nobody in town had the time and semo made time! Strongly recommend choosing semo for anything from a simple oil change to major motor repair. I myself just needed 26 inch tires mounted to the rim and balanced, thanks again semo automotive and repair!

I bought my vehicle from BIC Motors that is in the same location. I had a air bag light on I was able to drop it off get a loaner to get to the office and get my car was fixed the same day. Great communication and great people to deal with. If you in the market for a vehicle and a great service department I recommend both Bic and Semo Auto Repair.
