Destiny Chuch of Jacksonville

Destiny Church of Jacksonville is such an incredible place to be! It’s a non-denominational church that’s full of life, positivity, and genuine people. I’ve been going with my boyfriend and his family, and every time we go, I leave feeling encouraged and uplifted. The worship is powerful, the messages are always meaningful and easy to connect with, and everyone there is so welcoming. You can really feel God’s presence in the room. Every message is heartfelt and spoken straight from the Bible. I’m so thankful to be apart of this church it truly feels like home!

About 10 years ago, my family was looking for a non denominational church in the Jacksonville area when we came across destiny church! We came and immediately got connected through family friends of ours, and we haven’t looked back since! Since then my parents, girlfriend and I have joined the serve team and attended on Sunday. It’s an amazing spirit filled environment with donuts and lemonade every morning! The people are very welcoming and loving! The message is always STRIGHT from the word and the worship is incredible. We are in love with this church!

I moved to Jax in 2018 and this makes the third church I have attended since moving and it will be the final church I attend because I have found my church home. What an amazing group of people who make you feel welcome, and just like family from your very first visit to your twentieth visit. Pastor Chris is the real deal and isn't afraid to step on toes and preach the truth... the spirit of the Lord of felt in this church... each and every Sunday through praise and worship. Destiny Church is a special place where any and everyone is made to feel welcome. The music is uplifting, and more importantly, the message is clear every Sunday. It really helps to put life into perspective. Chris, who started Destiny Church, is probably the most genuine person I have ever met. He cares about everyone that he comes into contact with and he takes the time to teach and help anyone who wants to be closer to God. If you are looking for a place to find peace, good people and a connection with God, this is it!

Destiny Church is truly making a difference in the Jacksonville community. My experience was amazing, it felt like one big happy family. The pastors have such a heart for loving hurting people back to life. A healthy thriving church that believes in people, not just how many seats they can fill. I was so impressed at the diversity that was represented in the service, a beautiful example of unity in the body of Christ. Destiny has been the church home for my wife and I for the last few years. We have found great community to worship with. There are many great churches in Jacksonville, but there is something special about this one.

I tend to be critical of church teaching, and have never found something out of place or biblically incorrect. The pastor is challenging, without being insulting while maintaining a position of humility and acceptance of others.

Like I said, there are a lot of great Churches, but I think this one is special.

My husband and I moved here to Jacksonville in July of 2013 and were looking for a church family. We came along Destiny and it was the first church we visited and we knew instantly that this was the church that God called us to be part of. We didn't need to look any further.
I have never felt so welcomed and accepted in a church before til I came here. The atmosphere is so positive and everyone makes an effort to talk to everyone else; you can definitely feel the love at this place!
Pastor Chris does a great job at speaking God's word and also, putting it into words that you can understand. He also makes me cry about every week due to how great the service was.
Not only is Chris a great Pastor, but lets not forget the worship team and the children's ministry people.
Going to Destiny has not only helped me as an individual and my relationship with God, but it has also helped me with my marriage and my relationship with others. I couldn't see myself at any other church than this one.
Needless to say, I would recommend Destiny to anyone and everyone. :)
