He then completed an internship in anesthesia at John Peter Smith Hospital and his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in oral & maxillofacial surgery. He has received multiple awards and honors, including the New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and Dentsply International Award in prosthodontics.
