Dave installed new furnace and air conditioner last year. His pricing was competitive and top-notch furnace/ AC. He didn't try to oversell us. He was very professional and listened to what we were looking for. I recommend him highly!

July 2025. We had Armstrong's install an AC split on our 3 season porch last year, and they did such a nice job, fast, efficient, and good quality work, that when our main whole house AC died, we called them again. July 2025 they installed a brand new whole house AC unit, state of the art, new remotely controlled whole house thermostat, and new high efficiency whole house furnace. We are thrilled with their work. The men were nice to have around, courteous, quiet, neat, and knew what they were doing. It even took less time than they booked for it, so we were back in business faster. The price was in line with local prices and perhaps just a bit better, but since you get what you pay for, we were not shopping strictly on price. We wanted good technical skill, good AC and heating products, expert installation, and good service, which we got. Instructions for setting and using the new system was clear and they answered all questions. Oh, and they removed the old units from the property, cleaned up all the boxes and mess, even the little bits and pieces, before they left. We have been so impressed we asked if they have a service contract. We'll be very happy to have them back in our home, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Yes, we recommend.

Previously for just the AC split in the 3 season room: We are so delighted with the quality of work, and the product installed by the men from Armstrong's Heating and Air Conditioning.  They were prompt, clean, considerate, and clearly highly skilled.  A good number of items had to be fabricated and installed. They were pleasant to have in our home and were careful with the doors to keep our pets from dashing outside.  When they were done, they explained how the system worked, in detail, and answered all our questions. They even sent in the warranty paperwork for us. The cost was right in line with what was expected and there were no surprises. We found this company careful, skilled, ethical, and nice people. We live in Steuben County around one of the lakes.

Had a new HVAC system installed and Dave was great! We were in a time-crunch and he came and gave me a quote and talked through options same day. He is very knowledgeable and really understands all aspects of the work because he does the installs as well. We had the whole new system and duct cleaning done in one day. Very thankful we went with this local company and can’t highly recommend Dave and his crew enough!

Did duct & vent cleaning for me. FANTASTIC JOB! Very thorough. Also added a nice, fresh scent to the house at the end with a bacterial inhibitor. Highly recommend!!! Avoid the scammers and get these great, local guys!

Dave went above and beyond to service our 'no heat' situation.

When my furnace would not come back on after the power outage, Feb. 12, 2019, I contacted Dave Arstrong. He was able to check out my furnace and promptly gave me prices to both repair and replace the HVAC unit. The furnace was fairly old so I decided to have it replaced. Dave was able to get a new unit and replace the original in less than three days. Dave and the install team were professional in every way. I would highly recommend Armstrong HV&A.
