Gold Standard on Roncesvalles is so good! The food is yummy and unique, and they’re super quick — your order is ready in no time. There isn’t much seating, but overall it’s a great spot. I love that Reunion Coffee is right beside it (I think they’re connected!). Definitely one of my favorite quick bites in the area.

I first tried gold standard with my sister when she lived down the road - 10/10. The service of this shop is phenomenal, and even after she moved, I still make it my routine to hit the shop and get a sandwich everytime I come to Toronto. Highly recommend- I mean, just look at this piece of heaven?!

My daughter and I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with bacon at the window before we went for a lovely walk in nearby High Park. Sometimes we order the Breakfast Sandwich when we are sitting down next door in The Federal but on a beautiful day, it's nice to "get it to go". I only wish I could eat it slower - it's so very good that I don't take my time!

The burgers are very basic for the price tag. I tried but not going back again eventhoug they are just 3 minutes walk for me. I asked for a napkins, but nowhere to find when I got the burger.

Super chill spot with delicious breakfast sandwiches and burgers. Have had both a sandwich and burger now and really enjoyed. The burger was “smashing” as we say in the UK (i.e., really really good)

I am obsessed with their Breakfast burger and actually everything on their menu. Customers are in line right before they opened. I tried the Breakfast burger with bacon and the 4 guys burger. Both are insanely good. I wish they would deliver but I guess it's too small for that yet. Hopefully in the future.

I honestly think the breakfast sandwich was really good but i found a long hair inside the egg halfway into eating so i couldnt stomach the rest of it. Expect a long line and a wait. We waited approximately 30minuted for our sandwich.

Finally got my hands on to the breakfast sandwich!!! And man did it not disappoint!! Loved it!! The bacon was crispy, not at all oily and the egg was just perfect. First bit and it just melts in your mouth. And yes it’s wrapped in gold foil. lol

Gold Standard absolutely lives up to its name! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with kale and bacon, and it was nothing short of perfection. The egg was unbelievably fluffy, the bacon thick and cooked to perfection, and the hot sauce and pickles added just the right balance of heat and acidity. But the real star? The English muffin—soft, airy, and almost impossible to describe. It was like a sponge of love, soaking up every delicious flavor in the best way possible.

I’ve always considered Masa Deli the gold standard (pun intended) of breakfast sandwiches, but now…I’m not so sure. This might just take the crown. Either way, I’ll definitely be back for more!

One of the best breakfast sandwich I had so far! We tried both Gold Standard Breakfast Sandwich in Kale and Bacon and wow both are so sooo good! Putting this place now on my go to list and favorites!!!

Tasty but overpriced for what is essentially a slider sized breakfast sandwich. I saw the line and thought it was worth a try; (expect a at least 20 min wait, or come at an off time). But was disappointed with a small soggy sandwich.

Gold Standard Burger has quickly become my go-to spot for great burgers in the area. The juicy, perfectly cooked patties are a flavour explosion in every bite. The buns are soft and fresh, holding up perfectly to the flavourful toppings.

The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, Gold Standard Burger is something to hold close for days you crave burgers.

A simple take out place with small but amazing selections. We ordered their burger and their gold standard breakfast sandwich and both were delicious. Efficient service but at times, you must be prepared to wait as it gets busy. Friendly staff and would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent location and excellent choices including vegan options. If you need a hangover cure, look no further. Everything in my sandwich was cooked to perfection, would have loved the portion to have been slightly larger as I was still quite hungry after it. I would advise pre ordering too as it gets busy and we had a bit of a wait, though the wait was definitely worth it.

Heard about this place ages ago, finally was in the area to give it a try. I find myself at a figurative fork in the review road. On one hand, I appreciated the concept and super friendly service. The place is clearly popular, with customers popping in and out non-stop. I love the casual window and easy menu for choice. On the other hand, the burger was simple and mildly expensive for its size. I found myself asking what the big deal was. I liked my experience, however in a city teeming with hamburgers, I'm not sure this would be my go to. Worth a try though!

I find their food acceptable but it is pricey for what it is. I do not recommend it because there is a mandatory 15% fee added to every bill. I won't be buying there anymore.

If you love a delicious breakfast sandwich, Gold Standard is a destination that you should pursue. Freshly prepared while you wait after ordering at the pick up window, the sandwiches are a crunchy, spicy delight. Perfect morning meal before a dog walk in High Park.

Went to the new location on Queen and asked for no hot sauce on our breakfast sandwiches, but "no modifications on weekends". REALLY?! All you have to do is NOT add an ingredient, plus we were the only customers at the time. You're in Parkdale; adjust your attitude accordingly, and take note that this is how you lose business. Needless to say, we didn't enjoy our sandwiches because we were forced to abide by this rigid policy, and definitely won't be returning customers.
