So this is definitely my go to bakery. I was just telling someone about how good their cookies are and I figure I should share this information with everyone.. I literally have friends who die over the chocolate chip cookies and I must say they are a fantastic every day cookie not those overrated cookies.
I am a huge fan of their croissants. I think they’re delicious. Biggest problem is which one to get cause they’re also good. I normally I’m getting the chocolate one.
But I must also give the biggest shout out to their challah buns. The challah bread is great too, but something about the challah buns. I can’t explain it. I’m not even a bread person. They are the best tasting things ever. You can use them for sandwiches they use them for their breakfast sandwiches .
Sometimes we’ll just eat them plain cause they’re that good.
I started off by talking about cookies now I can start listing all the things I love. I’m going to stop now and go visit.

I love coming here, it’s been my go to for many years! So many delicious treats to choose from. One of my favourite is Gateau Basque, does that look like much but it’s soo tasty, must try. Butter tarts or hello Linda squares and many more locally made desserts.
Always fresh and always friendly. Super cute place!

Dough is the best go to bakery on the Danforth! They always have fresh desserts and treats. The pecan square, almond croissant, cheese tea biscuit are some of my favourites that never disappoint.
Their breakfast sandwiches on a weekend morning are a great treat and feel so home made, go for the peameal! You won’t be disappointed. Not a huge selection of lunch sandwiches but that’s not their main focus so I get it. Though I will say I’ve had their chicken salad sandwich and it was good, just a bit small.
Picking up their soups from the fridge section has been so wonderful on cold winter days!
Also have ordered birthday cakes and seasonal items on pre-orders… always a hit at any party! Dough is always a great idea. I’m so grateful for a reliable and brag worthy bakery!

We love Dough! Since I started working on the bus Danforth a few years ago, this bakery has become a family tradition! My dad will come from Scarborough just to have his favourite cheese scones and flourless chocolate cake. We have ordered cakes and special treats for family celebrations and holidays! We go in all thr time and are greeted by such kind, warm staff. All of thr bakes goods are awesome! And the other items (such as specialty pre-made food items, frozen and fresh food made in-house, and even a little special spot selling vintage items) all being such joy and have allowed us to buy gifts for family and friends from a local store! ❤️ We love you, Dough! Thanks for letting us shop local!
I met up with a friend here in May. The place us cozy and cramped. The coffee was good. They also had a decent enough selection of snacks to go with your coffee.
As you can see from.my pics they have other items they sell.
The service wasn't great, nor friendly. They didn't even try to promote any if the pastries.
I was disappointed in that they served on a paper cup rather than a ceramic cup one would expect. I find that paper cups negatively affect the taste of coffee and the whole experience.
Being on the Danforth, paid street parking is available if you can find it. Also, you get the added entertainment bonus from the eclectic range of pedestrians.
Check this place out if your strolling the area.

Combo breakfast sandwich is the BEST. Such nice people too!
The best breakfast sandwich in town!!! Giant pastries, massive scones, and the best seasonal goods you could hope for - all locally sourced and made in-house from scratch. Truly my happy place!
I have been going to this bakery for years - it’s a key element of the Danforth community. In particular have been getting cakes / cupcakes for my two girls’ birthday parties, always a big hit. Super friendly and welcoming staff and everything I’ve bought from there has been amazing and fresh.
Selling gluten-free products that aren't actually gluten-free. If I'd just trusted the signage I would have fed this cake to someone with celiac.
I asked for the mini gluten-free cakes and noticed that there was only one set of tongs. I asked if they use the same tongs for everything, including things made with flour, and was told yes, they do. I pointed out that the sign says gluten-free, and was told that it's gluten-friendly, not gluten-free. They use the same tongs and there is no separate prep space for gluten-free to avoid flour.

Came back to try this place after a few years and I must say everything has improved since. We tried an assortment of different pastries + breads and they were all delicious. Service was amazing as well, they went above and beyond to leave us satisfied. Only reason for the 4 stars is because some things aren’t as crunchy as I’d prefer them to be (just personal preference). But I recommend any of their cinnamon products, danishes and scones. The flourless options were pretty good too
My husband and I were in the area last weekend, we used to live here a few years ago and since moved further west. Anytime we are near there it is a must visit. I got the coconut cream pie croissant with toasted coconut and it’s as decadent and amazing as it sounds, my eyes almost rolled back in my head- that’s how great it is. We also got a hello Dolly, the carrot cake cupcakes, a date square, bread and their legendary breakfast sandwich. Everything is quality ingredients, homemade and not just homemade but actually delicious! Some people chirp about the price, but I think it’s very reasonable given the quality of ingredients and their costs to get these ingredients had increased as well. You get what you pay for and the value is there. A shout out to Ona (I may have misspelled your name) who is always helpful and props to Dylan the pastry dude who clearly knows his stuff. I love the staff, variety and freshness. Oh just to add- when you see some low star rating from others check their profile out as the low raters are often bitter sods who don’t know much. The Dough Bakeshop has a little bit of everything for everyone and is a must visit and must try!!
As a local, I’m in Dough twice+/week. Exceptional service; high quality breads (always the Multigrain); excellent croissants; the pizza dough (fresh, whole wheat) never disappoints.

Although this serves as a high-end coffee shop, we used to order a gateau basque when we were in the area for a Bach Festival concert. We picked it up the next day, and took it home for dessert. It was delicious! Highly recommended.
Overpriced with terrible service. Don't waste your time and money. Hot chocolate and mini cupcake was $7.00.
A wonderful, family owned local bakery. Their key lime pie is the best I've had outside of Florida. Their breakfast sandwiches are addictive. The challah buns will elevate your burgers to legendary status. Spectacular place, you can't go wrong. Really nice folks too.
Their breads, which vary by day, are spectacular, and there is a great selection of other baked goodies and more available!
