Braved a winter storm to make our way here and it was worth the trek. Tucked away in a residential area. The coffee was delicious and the egg and mortadella breakfast sandwhich lived up to the hype. We also tried the 50/Fifty (half chicken salad, half egg salad) and fell in love. Grateful for the bad weather so we could enjoy a slow morning in such a warm, friendly spot.
Simply the BEST breakfast sandwhich in Toronto - Kevin, Nick & Grace simply know cafe culture at its finest. The best flat white we had all week & the SECw/M was built to perfection. We came on the first day of our trip, came back on the last day of our trip, cause nothing beat it! ENJOY 🤤
We tried the Sausage Egg Cheese Sandwich and the Hollywood Club, along with an Americano and a British Ginger Soda. Everything was excellent!
The service we received was incredible, especially from Sean! He was attentive, kind, and offered great recommendations, including the delicious banana bread. He provided an extremely sweet and thoughtful service that made our visit special.
Highly, highly recommend!!!

i loveddddd the toasted banana bread , especially warmed up & with a nice cup of steamed milk. it had a nice natural sweetness from the banana (not overly so or artificial tasting) and bits of melting milky chocolate, but it was the sharp saltiness from the sea salt sprinkled all over, permeating and piercing every bite that really set it apart. the banana bread was also moist, quite oily, and hefty — i really loved the texture, and how it wasn’t crumbly and cakey like other banana breads, but more like congealed???
the SEC was also a really yummy breakfast sandwich (large and filling too). it was steaming when you revealed the STUNNING cross section, fresh, and comforting on a cold day. it was full of the classic, nostalgic savoury sausage flavour, along with the saltiness of the melted kraft cheese, and i LOVEDDD how the sweet and slightly tangy ketchup mingled and paired with the egg flavour. the bread had a slightly toasted crispy bottom, but was thick so could be slightly too bready/dry in some parts. i don’t even like ketchup, but it was delicious in this sandwich.
i had the banana chocolate chip cookie RIGHT out of the oven, so it was kind of falling apart (hadn’t cooled yet), but i’d say the taste was very similar to the banana bread, but in cookie form. again, the sweetness of the banana was infused with saltiness, but there was also a subtle brown sugar flavour in the cookie too. the cookie itself had crunchy, crispy edges, and a chewy center.

Looks better than it tasted. I didn’t realize they put ketchup on the sandwhich (didn’t state anywhere) and it barely had any bacon in it. Also the bun was fine, just a basic hamburger bun type that was toasted. I’m good not coming back.
Reminds me of the egg on kaiser my Dad used to buy me from the coffee shop when I was a kid (more than 50 yrs ago :-). Had the bacon and egg sandwich this time. Will try the bacon and mortadella next time and then the sausage after that.
Service is great and very personable, I appreciate the familiar feeling even though it was my first visit.
Coffee and chai were spot on!

Breakfast sandwich was huge. Almost justified the $14 price, but not quite. Felt like there could be a bit more meat in it for that price.
Cookies were good but nothing special. Worth trying though.
The standout item is the banana bread. It's absolutely phenomenal and possibly the best chocolate banana bread I've ever had. You must try it!
Very friendly staff and a nice chill vibe with people sitting outside on the patio late in the morning.

Breakfast sandwiches really are having a moment in the city, and I think I’ve found my new go-to spot. What I love most is that not only are the sandwiches delicious, but they also deliver real value for the price. At other trendy places, you often end up with something small and overpriced - but not here.
I had the SEC (Sausage, Egg, and Cheese), while my friend went with the MEC (Mortadella, Egg, and Cheese). Both are made to order, and fair warning: they’re huge! The eggs were just slightly runny, the bun was lightly toasted yet still soft enough to press down, making it easier to get that perfect bite of everything together. I especially loved that the sausage wasn’t a patty, but actual breakfast links sliced lengthwise - it added so much more texture and flavour.
Both sandwiches were hearty, satisfying, and downright delicious. Honestly, after one of these, you can probably forget about lunch. I’ll definitely be back for more!

First time here, and the staff were not only extremely friendly but took the time to explain their menu. I’m a picky eater, but I couldn’t help but try everything they had to offer. Their chocolate chip banana cookies and banana bread with flaky sea salt were DIVINE. Also I HATE sandwiches but I couldn’t help but devour one from here. I had the 50/50 with tuna and egg salad and absolutely loved it. Definitely recommending this to everyone I know.
One of the best coffee shops in Kensington market!! The latte was delicious and I can’t recommend enough trying the strawberry banana cookies!!
The staff are very friendly and they have lots of food options!
There’s not a lot of seating inside but there’s lots of table and chairs outside in the warmer months.

Absolutely loved my lunch at this cozy little café! I had the vanilla iced soy coffee and a BLT, both were chef’s kiss. The coffee was smooth and perfectly sweetened, and the BLT was fresh, crispy, and so satisfying. What made the experience even better was the girl at the counter, she was incredibly friendly and kind, which just added to the whole vibe. Can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast menu next time! Already looking forward to it
Went there today with my best friend and we loved it!
I had the matcha super smooth and the in-house vanilla syrup made it taste perfect.
She got a coffee and a BLT which she absolutely loved.
The staff were so friendly and gave us great suggestions too. We were there around lunch so I couldn’t try their breakfast sandwiches, but I can’t wait to go back for one soon.
Really hoping they have a good vegetarian option, if anyone has a favourite sandwich here, please share! lol
Can’t recommend this place enough for delicious drinks, tasty food, and amazing service. 🧡🖤🤍💛💚

Gotta get here before 11am to get the breakfast sammies. I can’t do that so I enjoyed the lunch ones. Absolutely delicious and filling. Got some brown lettuce, whatever, goes with the brown bread, which is nothing special, but it’s toasted perfectly. The Hollywood is amazing, the tuna salad is the quintessential tuna salad. They have Tahitian Treat and other great sodas. The Mr. Potatoes are superb. Best way to eat potatoes any time of day. Small spot so be ready to jockey for a position, wait, or go outside. Great spot for eats.
Great neighbourhood coffee shop. I had the bacon egg and cheese and a side of potatoes, both tasted amazing and were very affordable. The staff is super kind and welcoming. Overall great experience here, will definitely be coming back!
What's up with people's obsession over finding Toronto's best breakfast sandwich?
If you sit by the window and turn to face west, you can see the McDonald's at Bathurst/Dundas. I like that, it feels poetic to sit and eat a $14 breakfast sandwich while yearning for a hash brown in the distance.
I wonder if the staff ever tire of explaining the menu acronyms.
SEC - sausage, egg, cheese. Is that ketchup or just some tomato sauce? I like that the Kaiser rolls are toasted on the outside.
Strawberry cookie - fine, tastes like a Dare Bear Paw cookie.
The space is pretty small and highly trafficked, I've heard 40min wait times for sandwiches on the weekend 😬

Incredible sandwiches and coffee. For my sandwich I got the 50/50 and my friends got the BLT. We were all super satisfied with the flavour combos. For my drink I got the maple hojicha and my friends got lattes and they were all excellent. Best of all the staff is super fun and friendly. Would definitely come here again
This has got to be the coolest coffee shop I’ve been to. It was such a relatable and nostalgic experience…
Their sandwich was definitely made right. Not sure if sandwiches can get you a Michelin star but they could get one for sure. The coffee was good too.
Also, the barista was wearing a Kate Bush tee which was cool. The Dreaming is a masterpiece!
