Dr. Hemanth Kunduru has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. He holds several leadership roles within the organization, including mentoring clinical staff in 11 offices in East Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In addition to his work with Aspen Dental, Dr. Kunduru is a teaching faculty member at the TAG Oral Care of Excellence in Chicago where dentists all over the country come to learn implant surgery. This facility provides comprehensive dental care at no cost to underserved Illinois residents. Dr. Kunduru also treats his own patients, specializing in complex implant surgeries and IV sedation. He has experience placing over 4,000 dental implants and has mentored other dentists place countless more. He is often called in to troubleshoot and complete complex cases when other dentists ask for assistance. Dr. Kunduru earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. His training includes IV sedation as well as treating dental patients in a hospital setting. Over the past decade, he has pursued additional implant training in several countries, including Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, and Jamaica. Outside of work, Dr. Kunduru enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife and two beautiful daughters, ages 4 and 1.
