Daniel Garvin, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed a general pediatrics residency at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. As a pediatrician he cares for children of all ages. From newborns, toddlers to adolescents, and early adults. He feels caring for a child involves all aspects of their life, whether preventative thorough well child checks and sports physicals, assessing future risk and current treatment of chronic disease, or by caring for acute illnesses and sports injuries. Dr. Garvin feels healthcare and in particular pediatric care requires the help of an entire care team of providers, family, friends, and caretakers. He strives to listen compassionately to this care team, and the patient, to provide individualized care with well informed and educated decisions. In his free time Dr. Garvin enjoys physical activities with his wife and children.
