Such a great collection and SO helpful. So much personal attention when I needed to pull together an outfit asap for a grad weekend. They helped me find pieces I love and best of all can wear again and again over the summer. They even helped me choose jewelry to complete my outfit. Not only was I ready for the weekend but even walked out with a Mother’s Day gift and a graduation gift!
Blu Violet has a gorgeous selection of inventory and you are sure to be welcomed with a smile by the new owner, Stacie. She loves the community and her enthusiasm and warmth radiates in this lovely boutique.

New owner is WONDERFUL. Best boutique in Libertyville, no doubt. Great brands and options, jewelry is perfect for a nice everyday wear. Founds some cute back to school outfits, owner was super helpful and knowledgeable, can't wait to come back!!
Blu Violet is my go to store in town! I absolutely love all their cute graphic tees. This is my favorite store to shop for date night tops, chic jewelry, graphic tees, and their Free People selection is AMAZING! Did I mention their permanent jewelry?! Such a fun thing to do with your bestie!
I just got a permanent bracelet done, that I thought was going to be a fun experience. The person who did our bracelets was so unfriendly and unwelcoming. The knowledge of the employee on pricing when purchased was not accurate but the person honored it grudgingly. We purchased these gift certificates back in December and it was so hard to book an appointment. Finally after multiple emails and phone calls, we got a response on instagram. Cute shop, but the customer service is lacking.
Love love love this local boutique! Growing up near Chicago I was used to boutiques on every street so when I moved to lake county I was bummed when I realized there weren’t many small cute clothing boutiques around. Enter Blu Violet Boutique. From the second I stepped into the place I instantly loved it! The vibe and style of the shop is incredible. There were many brands I recognized instantly like Free People and Z Supply and then others I had never heard of before like Daze Denim and Lucy Paris which have quickly become favorites of mine! The girls who work there are always sweet and super helpful and the owner is so nice and always has fun events going on at the store like mommy daughter days and permanent jewelry parties! If you love clothes and fashion then I highly suggest checking out Blu Violet!
