I do not think that I feel it appropriate to award even one star. Jeff did a large job, (a break in the water intake line) for which he was paid well and promptly ($1600 approx.), although his presence on the job seemed unnecessarily erratic (so many emergencies elsewhere, so many elderly clients in need) and Jeff seemed to ask frequently for simple tools which would have been in any plumbers toolbox, & towels, etc.

A more serious matter was the improper attachment of a hand-held shower at the time of the major work. The shower, over time, leaked into the ceiling and wall below, bringing the ceiling partily down, creating mold on the wall, and damaging the vintage flooring.

It is now necessary to clear my entire office so that repairs can take place. I need to hire help to accomplish that. Many things have been water-ruined and lost.

The estimate, before looking beyond the surface, is around $3,300. It is unknown what lies behind the ceiling and wall. If mold has intruded, that has bearing on the salability of my home.

Jeff was called to reattach this shower and to unplug a backed up basement sewer. I have asked Jeff to be responsible for the repair to the office (not including lost items, time and energy lost). I assume that he has insurance.

Instead, Jeff wants to be paid for his last service call and has not taken any responsibility for the damage to my home. This bill is $565, just over the deductible for my own insurance.

He has not returned my calls nor offered any compensation for the damages caused.
*His assistant verified that the installation of the new shower had been incorrectly attached, causing the leak.

To say that I feel poorly served is an understatement.

Arrived late to service broken toilet. Took toilet apart, went to gets parts and never returned. Unbeliveable, had to call another plumber as we were going to have a dinner party that night ( would be without a toilet for guests ). What a nightmare.

Sloppy work, overcharges and wants to be paid in cash. Will not answer calls for unfinished work. Very unreliable plumber and untrustworthy. Would not recommend.
