After a basement sewage flood, my insurance company recommended ICON Restoration for the repairs. Before the remodel, ICON had a team do a rough cleaning job to help cut down the smell and give the documentation team space to work. We had over 500 items to photograph and document -- ICON sent a team of ladies, and they completed the job in two days.

Once documentation was finished, the removal team was overbooked, so the cleanup team stepped in and handled the disposal of everything in the basement. They then cleaned everything extremely thoroughly and sprayed mold inhibitors, then set up giant fans all over the basement to dry everything out. The basement has never been cleaner! Keep in mind, we had several inches of sewage in our basement recently, so it had been disgusting. We had a UV flashlight and decided to check things out and were flabbergasted at how clean things were.

After clean up and sanitation we had electrical, plumbing, boiler system, water heater and finishing carpenters out to work on their respective areas of the basement. Every tradesman that came out was very professional and did fantastic work. One of the contractors even came out for an additional drive (I believe they had a 45 minute one-way trip) to do just a little extra to make the basement a bit more accessible in the future.

We had a small miscommunication with one of the tradesmen, but our Project Manager, Armando, was quick to clear things up and make sure everything was taken care of. There were a few initial delays in the project; just before any work was started, we discovered the boiler and water heater had also been affected. This was another less frequently available trade that needed to be included, and then the first HVAC contractor had an emergency that caused them to not be able to take on the project; Armando quickly got another company out to do the work, and they were fantastic.

Ceilings were sprayed black (if you're questioning it, just go for it, it looks amazing!), walls were framed and finished and look great! We had a few custom pieces that we had to wait for (french doors and an extra large laundry tub), but those were taken care of as soon as they were able. Despite some small initial delays, the entire project was still completed a week ahead of the initial scheduled date of completion. From the time we called our insurance company until the last paint was drying took about 4 months. I would highly recommend their expertise based on my experience.

(Our project manager communicated incredibly well every step of the project -- we had to deal with a few different depts throughout the process (cleanup, documentation, disposal, some contractors), but the project manager is the one that keeps it all together. A++ Armando!)

Run fast and run far. After our home was damaged in a tornado we used this company for repairs. It took over a year, filing a BBB complaint, consulting with an attorney to get them to finish the job. They had to do the siding 3 times. And the pictures are the pieces of siding that are AGAIN falling off the house. They have been contacted to come and repair this but have not fixed their terrible work. Shotty work, lying staff, complete and total incompetence. RUN!

After the fire damage to our home, we worked with Icon on the restoration, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Crystal, our project manager, was absolutely incredible to work with. She was responsive, organized, and always made sure we were in the loop every step of the way. Her attention to detail and ability to coordinate the many moving parts of our project made a huge difference. We felt truly supported during a very stressful time. Thank you to Crystal and the entire Icon team for your hard work and professionalism!

This outfit is hands down the best. I had a claim and they were out and mitigating the damages with days. Anthony ran point on the project and kept me informed every step of the way. I also had a separate issue with my Mother's house that he went above and beyond to help out with. Oh... and they answer their phone when you call! In a world with a severe lack of customer service and competency this company is a shining star. This is NOT their first day on the job! Highly recommend!

We had some damage to our roof, which caused our living room ceiling to crack and leak, as well as damage to our upstairs bathroom. Our insurance company recommended ICON, and I was very pleased with how quickly they responded. They arrived the next day with the appraiser, making the process feel efficient from the start.

Within 2–3 days, the mitigation team was back to remove drywall and insulation, completing that phase in just two days. However, after that, the project sat for a month before the restoration team could return. I had to call daily to speak with a program manager or project manager, and after multiple follow-ups, we were finally assigned a new project manager, Armando. He was responsive and quickly arranged for the next team to assess the work needed.

Even with Armando’s efforts, it still took about two weeks of persistent calls to get the restoration scheduled. Once the team—John and Jim—arrived, they did an excellent job and worked efficiently. Overall, the quality of work was great, but the process required extra communication and management on my end.

Would give zero if I could.

Had a tree fall last year and damage some siding. My insurance recommended Icon. BIG MISTAKE. It took over a year to get the job completed. We were dragged through countless walkthroughs as our project manager kept changing. At one point, we signed one sheet that verified the work that needed to be done and the project manager changed...again. After months of waiting we were told our claim was closed and we denied service. They finally sent out another new project manager who said that our previous plan wouldn't work for them. We had to basically threaten them with a court ruling as we had signed a legally binding agreement with the previous project manager.

When Laborers finally came out, they were sub contracted. Icon doesn't have laborers and subcontracts out to the cheapest bid. The overall quality reflects this.

They tried to clad over rotten wood and I had to start using terms like "installation guidelines" and "Manufacture warranty". After pulling teeth, they finally got someone to replace the rotted wood (which was on the original work order that we had signed).

Horrible company. Horrible practices. They should be called "Icon Cover It Up" because they tried to do the bare minimum to my home. I literally have to go out and caulk/fix multiple points in my siding as the job was fairly sub par.

I will say that our final project Manager, Josh, was great. he worked with us through our frustrations and did his best to smooth things over from a whole year of headaches with them.

Update: Less than a year later and the siding is coming off and the caulking around the windows is failing. They installed the top strip wrong causing it to fail and the caulking is the wrong type for exterior windows. I have called and they are not following up to get the issues fixed.

We had roof damage from a rainstorm, it leaked into a bedroom. Icon came out and fixed it all! Our overall experience was great. The people were courteous and kept us informed through the process. A big shout out to Clint, he went above and beyond. He was extremely friendly and made sure we were satisfied. My daughter said, #ClintIsBomb

We used Icon to restore our lower level and laundry room after the main water line busted under our house and flooded . Agron was in charge of our job and I’m really impressed by his professional and caring attitude thru out the process! He handled all our concerns and was very prompt with communicating each step of the process. I feel like I made a friend with him he was very sweet and kind also . We have used Servpro in the past but Icon was way better. Definitely recommend them ! Great job ! Before and after photos
