An excellent restaurant. The decor is gorgeous, the food is really good, and the staff are quite friendly. Friendly. Our server, whose name I think was Shawn, was probably one of the best servers I've ever had in a restaurant and we go out a fair amount.

Just recent went to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband. We always love coming here and actually had our wedding reception at this location. Service was excellent and prompt. Food came out pretty quickly and beyond delicious. Ambiance was quiet and lovely where we were sitting. I always recommend coming here for the best pizza and pasta!

We went to this restaurant because of its famous. The restaurant is beautiful outside and inside, services were great but the food was a bit salty. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Honestly think the inside is cuter than the patio, and they leave all the windows open so indoor seats feel very “outdoors” with better ambiance. The y toast appetizer was so delish. The burrata was not nearly as good, particularly because the bread didn’t taste fresh or impressive - just overcooked stale bread TBH (would be pressed to equate it to “focaccia” as they do in the menu). Nonetheless while the grilled grapes were interesting, the burrata was nothing more than Costco garlic bread, burrata and grilled grapes, all for the price of $26. Pizza was good, fair price, fair size. It is not clear which sauce goes on which, ie we were surprised that the fungi pizza was a white sauce. I believe that should come with a warning.

The octopus was good, albeit $80. It was a bit too vanilla (plain) for me to justify ordering again. It is shareable, size for 2 people, but not 3 as the waiter advertised.

Would come back and I would order differently. The only thing I would order again is the ricotta toast appetizer.

Need reservations for a summer Saturday night.

No piano in the background, which would elevate the atmosphere.

I had an event for 20 people, we did the family style dining, and the food was amazing and abundant! We had to take some home. Our server was incredible and helped make everything perfect!

It was our first time trying Piano Piano and we absolutely loved the ambiance and the decor — such a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We enjoyed the food overall, but the pasta was a bit firmer than we’re used to, which made it a little difficult to fully appreciate the delicious sauces. This did take away from the experience a bit.

That said, everything else was great: the flavors of the sauces were wonderful, and the service was good too. We’ll definitely give it another try next time and hope the pasta will be cooked a little softer.

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at Piano Piano on Friday and it did not disappoint! This restaurant has been a long time favourite of mine, so when deciding on an intimate restaurant reception to celebrate our big day, this was the answer. The food is delicious, the staff were so helpful and friendly, and our guests had a wonderful time. Thank you!

I recently hosted my bridal proposal at Piano Piano’s Oakville location and I truly couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience. From start to finish, everything was absolute perfection. They also allowed me to show up 15 minutes before my reservation to set up my table with some flowers and boxes.

The ambiance was warm, elegant, and intimate—exactly the kind of atmosphere I was hoping for. The staff went above and beyond to make the lunch special, accommodating every detail with care and professionalism. They made me and my bridal party feel so celebrated, and their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Paired with amazing drinks and impeccable service, the entire lunch felt like a dream. I highly recommend the piano piano spritz, the piano piano Caesar salad, the sweet hornet pizza and the Nutella tiramisu!!!

Thank you to the entire team at Piano Piano for helping create one of the most unforgettable memories of my wedding journey. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just have great food and service- this is it! 💍🥂✨

This is the second time I have been to Piano Piano for a celebration. Both times they have come up trumps. We were served by Katie who was just delightful and the other servers and bar staff were also lovely and helpful. The food was delicious, we did the special Sunday supper which gave us a (big) taste of some of the dishes - way too much for us so we have some tasty food for lunch tomorrow! The cocktails we had were delicious and the house wine was very good. Ambience was energetic but not too loud, my husband and I could talk easily but there was a buzz around us which we appreciated. I would put this as the best affordable restaurant in Oakville.

We went there to celebrate my sister's birthday the other day and had a good time. Aside from the table beside us who just got louder and more obnoxious the more they drank, the atmosphere was nice. Food was good...everything came out nice and hot. My favorites were the clams and donut and caviar...really good!!

Manager came to us in the beginning because she saw me looking around as we were seated for over 10 minutes and no server had came to even give us water. She asked the celebration, we told her it’s our 7 year anniversary. She said she would provide complimentary Prosecco and we said we wanted the dinner for two as well. This was $148 for a bottle of wine, snack, app, two mains, and two desserts. She proceeded to ask for our ID. I did not have my wallet on me as for dinner dates my fiancée pays. I am going to an upscale place (or so I thought)- the last thing I thought of was my id- I was more concerned of finding a small clutch to match my sophisticated outfit. I told her I’m a practicing Registered Nurse, I promise I am of age and I can provide proof of licence for that or a picture of my government id. She declined. However we watched her serve to others within our vicinity in the restaurant and she did not ask them for ID. I think this was out of malice as I was already disappointed that nobody served us within the first 10-15 mins. Respectfully if someone tells you they’re celebrating 7 years- how young do you think I am?

Anyhow we stayed for the meal. Too bad you guys lost money on a customer willing to pay $148 we left paying under $100 and went elsewhere for a drink to cheers on our seven year anniversary and dessert elsewhere.

However the food- the pizza you guys gave us- BURNT. Charred completely like disgusting. The ‘calamari’ had 2 pieces of squid- the rest was zucchini and artichoke. Crazy.

0/10 would not recommend this place to anyone as I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied.

Absolutely love the lunch special here (the prosciutto appetizer is a must)! Tastiest pasta ever, and the food/service quality is high, consistent with Piano Piano’s other locations. So happy there’s another on the west end!

A good Italian restaurant in Downtown Oakville with a beautiful, artful exterior that draws you in. Inside, the vibe is cozy yet luxurious—dark tones, elegant lighting. The food holds up well; the chicken stands out—better than most places around. Service is attentive and warm. Prices are what you would expect for downtown Oakville. Only thing missing? Piano? Let me find it out again..

Piano Piano in Oakville is an absolute gem! The exterior looks like a charming house, setting a warm and inviting tone right from the start. Inside, the décor is stylish and well thought out, with ample seating that creates a cozy yet spacious atmosphere. The dark, romantic vibes make it the perfect spot for a date night or a fun girls' night out.

Now, let’s talk about the food—it was simply delicious! Each dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, making every bite a delight. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special evening, Piano Piano delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their fantastic menu! Highly recommended

The lunch special at Piano Piano is definitely worth it! The vintage interior adds to the charm, and the portions are generous especially the pizza. While the rigatoni with meatballs was a bit underwhelming, the meatballs themselves were beautifully cooked and well seasoned, though the sauce lacked flavor. Everything else we ordered was delicious, making it a spot worth visiting.

Piano Piano had a cozy atmosphere. Our server was pleasant. We liked how he gave us privacy throughout our dinner. We ordered the calamari, the hot rod pizza and the rigatoni and meatballs pasta.

Calamari (4/5) was bouncy with a crispy breading. It was well-cooked. They added breaded artichokes as well which we weren’t really fans of. The dipping sauce really complemented the calamari well.

The Hot Rod Pizza (4.5/5) was delicious. It had a nice smokey finish to it from the stone-oven. The meat to cheese ratio was well-balanced. The only thing that we were hoping for is for the pizza to be spicier.

Rigatoni and Meatballs Pasta (3.5/5) was creamy with a mixture of tanginess from the tomato sauce. The meatballs were cooked perfectly. They were juicy. The pasta, however, was a tad bit undercooked.

Piano Piano Spritz (5/5) was quite refreshing. I enjoyed sipping on it throughout our meal.

Fast food experience is better than this honestly. We had to wait 25 mins to get our order taken, then the waiter brings us someone else’s food twice. I got my drink but my friend didn’t get his drink till 20 mins later. The food was dry and you can tell the food was not made properly, in fact the same meal ordered in person did not look anything like its online pic counterpart. nothing but the calamari and truffle pasta stuck out to us as good, those two meals made us not totally angry with the experience.
The whole place had waiters running around with stress oozing out of them, so the ambiance was rushed and disorganized, not at all relaxing or fine dining. Cutlery dropping everywhere and staff looking stressed, all of them flailing around when talking to each other. Wine tasting was given in dessert wine glass instead of an actual wine glass??? The cutlery for our food never came, had to always ask for it, and we had to wait 5 mins for it everytime. Lastly, they forgot to pack the dessert we asked them for and were charged for, noticed later.
Honestly, maybe it was a Friday night rush, but staff should have the training to deal with a full house if that’s the case. It’s not like you’re able to walk in, resos are filled up 2-weeks in advance so management should staff it properly well in advance. We even had to put a deposit down to get a reso so idk why this is all unprepared.

By far, probably the most disappointing fine dining experience in all of the GTA.

Our first time at Piano Piano. Everything was fantastic. Josh, our server was excellent. He definitely exemplifies what the experience should be at every restaurant. He recommended the bone in veal parmesan, with a side of pasta, and it was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Will be back. 5 stars!!!! The pizza was amazing as well.
