Yesterday, we visited Burger Bloc for the first time and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered the Chicken Jalapeño burger, but it had an odd smell and tasted as if it was stale. Both my wife and I noticed it immediately, and it almost made us feel sick. We gave our honest feedback to the staff — the girl at the counter was polite and even offered to replace it with another burger, but at that point, we had already lost our appetite. We ended up leaving without trying anything else.

We also tried their tangy mayo fries, which were okay, but nothing that would make us return. This was the first time I have ever been unable to finish a burger. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

The food actually tasted great! It was my first time at BurgerBloc and it didn't disappoint. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was really good. Also, it is Halal which is a plus! The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the size was a bit smaller than at any other burger place. I still felt a bit hungry afterward. Otherwise, the burger tasted amazing. Would recommend!

Never again. Their menu totally displays what they serving. I got the special chicken wrap that should be served as a 12” like every where els. And was served with hotdogs wrap. Not worth it for the filling and price. Rip off, I took pic but there is no option to post it.

SKIP THE SLIDER!

I got the Ramadan deal which came with a Beef Cheese Bloc burger, a beef slider, fries and a pop.

The star of the show was the fries. They are fried until golden brown and were flavourful and crispy.

I liked the bun used for the Beef Cheese Bloc and the thickness of the patty however, the sauce was too mild. I wouldn’t get their burgers again.

I thought the beef slider was a joke when I saw it in the white bag. It’s so tiny. I’m surprised it’s not in the kid’s menu.

First time at burgerbloc, unfortunately it turned out quite disappointing. We tried Swiss Mashroom and it was too salty for my taste. Patty felt like one of those frozen store bought. Nothing fresh about it. I couldn't even finish my patty as it had some meaty smell in it. We also tried poutine and I don't know how can someone get poutine wrong. There was a strong oregano flavour or some strong herb in it. The only thing my kids approved was their shakes.

I would give this a 2.5.
Didn’t find it to be amazing.
Got the Beef block burger and the loaded beef bloc burger.
The burgers completely fell apart when you bite into it.
Got the bloc fries. The flavour is very odd. Fries taste a little sour. Also for a burger and a burger with combo came to over 30 bucks.
Didn’t seem worth it for that price.

A solid burger spot. We just happened upon it while we were grocery shopping nearby, and were pulled in by the promotion posted outside (free fries and beverage with burger purchase). The restaurant was empty, but I understand that it's brand new and still ramping up.

I ordered the Loaded Beef Bloc ($12.49) and my boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian Bloc ($11.99). And yes, it came with a free fries and can of pop. After tax, it was around $28 total - which I'd say is actually the normal price for two burger combos. I feel like it would be a bit too expensive to further charge ~$5 on top of that for a combo price. But, I was happy with the price based on the promotion offered.

The burger was actually very tasty. I didn't love the bread, but all the toppings and the meat were very flavourful and fresh. It did take around 10 minutes to make, which shows me that it's actually made on the spot.

If I lived nearby, I'd likely come again.

Remember this place for one of the few best halal beef burgers in town. Loaded and fresh. Both flavours we tried were great. For me, the Swiss mushroom melt was a winner. Fries are okay, not that great. Burgers are best !

Tried this place a few weeks ago with my mother. We tried the beef cheese bloc burger and now I can't wait to go back. The burger was amazing and the sauces tasted delicious. We instantly fell in love with it. The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. The two girls on the front and in the kitchen were super nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back with my family.
