Dr. Danielle LaSalandra is an osteopathic family medicine physician who practices full-spectrum care and is currently completing her training in Integrative Medicine where she practices acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation. As a family medicine physician, Dr. LaSalandra is dedicated to providing care to patients of all ages. As an osteopath, she uses her hands to both perceive and correct imbalance within the body, encouraging the body’s natural ability to heal. At this time, she is the only physician at Stamford Health that offers this type of treatment. Additionally, she practices Japanese-style acupuncture which emphasizes working towards her certification in acupuncture, in particular Japanese-style acupuncture which emphasizes palpation-based diagnosis. Her medical school honor society inductions include Sigma Sigma Phi and Psi Sigma Alpha. She is currently working as a per-diem hospitalist at Stamford Hospital and is an opera singer in her free time.
